Close to becoming empty nesters, Lisa and Dave Dewyngaert have decided to take the plunge and make the move from their home in New Hampshire to Palmer. Never having lived outside of the state (or even his childhood home), Dave is ready for a change of scenery and a slower pace. Lisa is excited to live in the wilderness and see wildlife right outside her front door. This couple is itching to unplug and embrace all the adventures of the Last Frontier.
Though Marius' work as a neurosurgeon is taking him to Alaska; he's dreamed of living in the Last Frontier since he was a young boy. Lucy has always lived in warm climates all over the world, and has never even seen snow before! Both pilots, this couple is excited to get up in the air and take in all the state has to offer. But first, they have to find a property with enough land for their falcons, their 14 rescue dogs, AND that's within 30 minutes of the Anchorage hospitals Marius oversees.
