Way too predictable. Not surprised by any of the 'reveals'. And again with the stupid mistakes, up to the last episode. The acting is great and the general plot is interesting and all, but the high production value doesn't make up for the added in mistakes to make the story progress. It's so lazy.

This was better than I expected (the whole season).

I feel bad for the mean girl. She has a few shocking life events that seem to put her on a better path only to be taken over by a demon.

Meeehhh. I wish they spent more time writing this thing. It often feels like lazy writing, that's a shame because I love the original idea, the decors the production etc

But I'm not sure who they are targeting sometimes. Did they think the audience would be 14 years old dumb kids?

Poor Ellie!

So they thought they got rid of Dodge/Lucas, yet failed to search for the remaining keys before ditching the body?
Throughout the season, the writers failed to take small details into account (although one can always blame it on “flawed characters”). Still, this seems to me as an integral plot of action. It’s quite frustrating, because this show has many strongs suits.

Anyway, my main question is about Gabe. When does he end and when does Dodge starts? Or is the other way around? At this point, I’m not sure if I can trust the writers to sort out this mess.

Omg, these kids are so stupid that it hurts my eyes to watch this shit...

I saw it coming... it was more or less predictable but again so many common sense mistakes: why bother looking for Dodge’s keys? Why bother looking for the crown? No need to even secure the hostage, let’s just wrap her and throw her through the evil door...
Ellie’s fate was expected, but sad nonetheless.
And for the record, I never liked Gabe from the beginning.

They left things open for a second season and probably there will be one, but the main intrigues were all explained so I give them credit for that.

Was anyone else getting irritated that when the kids (thought they) found Well Lady/Dodge/Lucas on the floor that they just kept standing around and not immediately looking for all the keys to take back from her?

I knew when all the kids tossed Dodge into the black door that it was probably Ellie because when Bode was at Ellie's house they didn't show her.

I didn't know nor expect the end parts with Gabe or Eden, which also begs the question then, where the hell is the real Gabe?

One other big question, did anyone else think that one paramedic kind of looked like Stephen King making a cameo appearance near the end?

But according to the credits, it wasn't! Lol

Some spoilers:
I predicted right away that Lucas some how made Ellie look like Dodge. It’s convenient that the Uncle is suddenly back in the season finale. Or back after every time something bad happens.
He needs to actually be used in future seasons. I forgot he even existed until he was finally shown again in this one.
Some characters feel one dimensional throughout and don’t react enough to the craziness. Especially Tyler with no reaction to getting with a girl who was really guy. Maybe because the actor is gay and didn’t want a negative reaction to a straight guy getting with another man.
Either way he could have at least looked shocked or say “Oh....” No reaction just made Tyler feel even more one dimensional.
Otherwise mystery and fantasy wise the show is definitely worth watching. The end is mind blowing as well.

Barricade the door? What about the windows? We have already seen how easy it is to break them! Also shadows? Lights? That would have been my first action. They do eventually get there, but damn are they dumb.

Don't do anything stupid? What about the last 6 episodes? Stupidity is the shows middle name!

And way to go Eden! Number one question on my mind and you nailed it.

So why didn't Tyler have Dodge right next to the door when they opened it. Seems like if you knew things could come out, you would have Dodge right there and open the door just wide enough to push Dodge through and then shut it. Oh, and then to stand in front of the door knowing something could come out, shear stupidity! Then when they close it, they don't stand behind the door where they can be protected. Just wow, so absolutely stupid.

I can't believe they don't even question whether Dodge was Dodge when they know the face key exists!

And what about the crown? They know Dodge had it, but they don't seem the least bit interested in finding it.

As for Ellie, I couldn't care less.

The show turned out way better than I expected in the first two episodes. Okay, so the Dodge using Ellie as a decoy was very predictable HOWEVER the unexpected twist came when it was revealed that Dodge wasn't just Lucas but also Gabe. A nice twist that sets up things for a potential second season - which I hope will happen -. When Eden joined the gang I knew that somehow she would end up being collateral damage. I anticipated her death but the demon bullet was a nicer twist.
I enjoyed the shadow part at the beginning of this episode. I hope that for a second season they will go with this darker atmosphere more. Maybe a second season will bring more character development too because these kids did make very poor and dumb decisions, which is to be expected from kids (especially lovable Bode) but still. Very dumb.

Hope this isn't the end, I can see there is lots more potential.
