This season has been awful. Season 1 was decent, 2 was bad, but this one is truly terrible. This finale was the only episode that was even mildly enjoyable in any way. Glad it's over.
That ending was bs. HORRIBLE way to end the show
It was an entertaining but rushed last season. Most likely because half the time you’re lucky to get 3 seasons on Netflix.
They have rushed their shows that made it passed one season to end on the 3rd season. If they aren’t Stranger Things that is.
Not hating but they didn’t need the whole episode about a gay wedding just to keep up with the times. It served no real purpose otherwise.
With only 8 episodes they could have done something like give Kinsy’s friends more to do. Especially Scot who didn’t have anything to do at all.
I also was hoping Dodge would be back in some form. She was a better villain than Kevin Durand’s. He was better as a villain in Lost. It was especially silly when he stole a car and drove perfectly for his first time driving.
I will miss the show but it could have used 4 seasons because it just felt like a canceled show. That didn’t feel like the writers expected it to be the last one. So they rushed an ending for it.
Season 3 was pretty awful but my main surprise here was that the girl who tricked Tyler into a date (the friends were never invited come on) and then drove hundreds of miles uninvited to see him...wasn't a demon out to get him?
Even if this season wasn't awful that alone shows how badly thought out this all was.
Destroying all the keys is such a lazy way to wrap it all up. Just for the record this ending is not true to the original works (where the keys are kept after the final showdown with dodge).
It also makes no sense since for the keys to be able to come into existence there already had to have been a portal to begin with to get whispering iron from so they basically solved nothing here besides being completely unprepared if a portal was to be found again (hell, why would the cave collapse be enough to completely seal the original portal forever anyway?).
Effectively the worst season ! THe back story was not So bad, but the crappy love stories was completely unusefull AND SO UNnOYING!

I must have been reaaally bored to finish. God these characters are infuriatingly stupid.
I’d just love to know why in this season they gave so much space to that annoying little brat genius wannabe. Was that nepotism or something?

The first season (series) of this show was interesting.
The second and third had lots of angry shouty characters and elements introduced too soon and used too quickly or were just never used.
It makes for bad story telling and doesn't suspend your belief. I wouldn't watch this show twice.
I'm really happy with the way they wrapped the series up! I'm sad to see it go because even though it's not the best series out there, it's a fun watch. I'm sad we didn't get to see more Dodge this season and we didn't really get a flashback to her. She was one of my favorites throughout.

I was upset when I first knew season three would have been the last one. Now that is over, seems like there was no clear path and direction to move the story forward in the first place. Not a bad ending per se, but a little rushed. Especially when the writers come up with keys that haven’t been mentioned before and work as some plot device to wrap up the story more efficiently. Gonna miss the Lockes though!
The problem with the finale here is the oft-cited "it didn't feel earned". Almost everything of consequence here is due to a key we knew nothing about. That hasn't been teased, whose power and limits we don't know. This is very different from say the Season 2 final where the Locke family gathers all the keys for a final showdown with Dodge. In this finale the stakes aren't clear and thus the solutions don't have impact because we can't possibly think of them.
I really liked this series. Tbf, this season was the weakest of the 3 (and the shortest too i think, since many episodes are like 30 min or so). Also, i found many fillers in this one, that "took time" from the season but didn't bring anything new to it. If you take that out, the season may have been 4 episodes only. Anyway, i liked it and i would have liked to see more, but at least they managed to close the story properly and not getting cancelled (although that "final battle" was terrible, could have been a lot better considering you have magical keys as the main plot). The overall series is a 7, but this season i think it gets a 5/5.5 tops.
