I feel like all John Green's books are tended to be specifically to just teenagers so maybe the rest of us don't enjoy the stories as much as we could however this is better than all the movies based on those books, it maybe not be the best show of the year or have a great story but at least most of the actors were good.
I remember reading the book when I was younger. I loved it. The funny parts. The sad parts. The exciting parts. Everything. It had a really big impact on me. I haven't read the book since but now I have seen this TV show and it felt like reading the book again. It had everything in it that I loved about the book. I laughed, I cried and I got the goosebumps.
Now this is something I though I wouldn't like after the first episode, but oh boy was I more wrong. I really enjoyed it, however It's really sad that Alaska's and Miles's relationship did not get to really far, but it's still nice how they become closer than I though they would.
This is so heartbreaking. I can't...
one of the best shows i've ever watched. it will remain forever in my heart.
This is so so far from something I'd watch, yet here I am, for the Gen Z king, Charlie Plummer
Good start very weak show i knew Alaska will be dead after second episode just weak :( did not fullx watch it did skip many part bc its so boring 4/10
Hadn't read the book, didn't really know anything about it, but I loved it. Gutted there isn't going to be a series 2 :(
What cringy ass sht is this?
The characters are tropes, the dialog has nothing to do with reality and about the first line Alaska delivers is some cringy nonsense about dismantling patriarchy.
HARD PASS.
This is such an emotional and heartbreaking movie, and as someone who knew very little about what this was actually about, it truly blew away my expectations. This show tackles so many themes and by the end, I was asking myself whether the character's actions were truly for the better.

I came into this not reading anything, not knowing anything, and not expecting anything, and I really loved it. Fantastic show that cared more about the story being told then how to stretch it into multiple seasons or more episodes then it needed.
