How about that ending, huh? I got chills. This moral conflict that Lucifer is facing is brilliantly written and acted.

I have to say, the fact that this season is only 10 episodes works much better in my opinion than the 22 we've gotten used to. There's no room for fillers, no need to drag out the Eve drama for 17 episodes straight, which makes for a much better, concise storytelling.

I never expected Lucifer to tackle police brutality and racism, but I think they handled it very well. It's heartbreaking to see Amenadiel go from loving humanity to not wanting to raise his son on Earth anymore.

Bruh. Lucifer really addressed police brutality and how the police system is inherently broken. That was UNEXPECTED.
The only truth that matters is theirs..

What was unnecessary but also is a side-effect of the over-policing was that twist. That won't get addressed though.

That aside, Dan is FUCKING all kinds of up. Everything's backfiring on him and it's all his fault.

-Father Kinley had been asking to see me, so I finally went and he told me about a prophecy.
-Right. What is it this time? Are frogs about to start falling from the sky or perhaps winter is coming.

My favourite episode of this season, so far. Little on the laughs (but still quite present) and heavier on the drama, on emotions being exposed and developed upon, instead of being brushed aside or bottled in just for the sake of the storyline. Amanadiel and Caleb's final scenes were very sad, but also very fitting. I'm glad Chloe and Eve took a back seat on this one, because in this episode I honestly felt that both Amanadiel and Lucifer grew as characters, being more in touch with who they are and what they want. Really good episode!

Also, FINALLY Lucifer realises he needs to put a lock on that elevator! I've been wondering about that for ages, now.

Poor Eve, how come you do that to her, she is so sweet.

This episode was really great. One of my favorites of the entire show.

- Chloe was honest with Lucifer for a change. She actively told him about her meeting with father Kingley. She didn't hide it or wait before telling Lucifer.
- Lucifer broke up with Eve straight up. And he gave her the real reason; He doesn't like himself when he's with her.
- During his therapy session, he finally admit that what's happening to him is his own fault. He finally stopped blaming others.

It really feels like an end is imminent. This feels like immense progress. I really hope that season five will be the last. I would be disappointed if Lucifer (the character) was to regress and this progress be negated just for the show to last longer.

The white policemen vs. black people hits a bit differently with the recent news... I'm so glad that the show included this topic. I can't wrap my head around the motive of these "people" hating and using aggression unnecessarily on people with a different skin color from theirs.

why did they release a self-confessed drug dealer?

The woke episode, what a shame.

Lucifer looks so different with a jersey that I almost didn't recognize him at first.

Lucifer finally stops swimming in The Nile. Poor Luci...
