Mad Men: Season 7

7x03 Field Trip

The terms were very humiliating. I don't know why Don accepted them. It wasn't about money, because he's been getting paid anyway. It didn't seem to be about the people there either, because he could tell that very few people were glad to see him. As Roger had pointed out, Don's work can't be matched, and he surely knows it. It was a no-brainer to me that he should have rejected the terms and accepted the offer from the other company. This way he'd not have to report to some seemingly talentless and grumpy nobody like Lou. Soon enough, he'd be rightfully respected again.

I don't hate Peggy. She has bad moments, like everybody.

Joan is an overrated WHORE

Don is completely out of character the whole episode. Is it supposed to signal some sort of change in him? No, it's just clumsy writing but necessary in order to have Don and Megan break up, and Don return to the office.

Finally some time between Betty and Bobby. But she’s such a brat. One little mistake then she was acting like a brat again.

Megan is as selfish as Don. She throws way too many tantrums. She’s living how she wants now and after one argument she gives up? Clearly Don loves bratty women.

Why does Peggy hate Don? She was kinda mean here. He hasn’t been in charge of her since before the merger so why is she upset? His return would if anything make the situation better (since Lou doesn’t listen to her).

Love how Roger’s selfishness actually works out here. He just wants his buddy back.

Glad Don agreed at the end but I’m guessing he won’t be so submissive...
