As much as I really want Tom and Juliet's dynamic to develop into something more deep, meaningful, and romantic... Abby deserved so, so much better. I hate that it's always this sort of thing with tv's love triangle tropes, that this is yet another etch into the countless number of times a female love interest is tossed aside just like that, just for the plot convenience. She basically put her job and lifestyle up, for goodness sake. It would have been awesome to have had her role extended a little like it was in the previous episode she was in, just giving legal advice alongside the team... Even tho I guess that'd go tardy if it was kept as such for too long without further delving into her character. It's a shame, really. I hope we get to see her again sometime, see how that pro bono clinic's going.
Could have done without the Lamborghini ad.
