Sinara is the second best female villain after Aida. She deserved a better death scene. By the way, she was literally a freaky blue bitch who killed people with a pair of balls made of metal! And she had an epic musical theme!
I feel like the foundation of mack and elena’s relationship was how good they understood each other and their amazing chemistry but I feel like since the hope storyline their relationship has been on the rocky side, especially because mack is so judgmental and at times sounds like a religious extremist, I get his moral code and whatever but the circumstances are extreme, hopefully their relationship gets back on track!
Sinara was a cool villain, but I’m glad she’s gone cause I was gettin tired of the music everytime she showed up.
This episode moved with an amazing amount of energy.
Wow! That was epic! Another great scenario where our team is on the verge of death, adrenaline pumping up everywhere! Great perf from Kassius, becoming more and more villainous than ever. Man I like this show very much!
[7.2/10] Perfectly cromulent episode as the show leads into what seems like the finale of this arc. Maybe? We basically have three stories, so let’s take them in turn.
First there’s the bulk of the Shield team trying to get Zephyr one off the ground. It’s a nice chance to give everyone a moment while they’re working toward a common goal. FitzSimmons get to not only figure out a wild technical solution to their problem but muse and lament the time travel implications of their situation. Coulson and May get a semi-tender moment where Coulson helps May process the fact that she was a mom (in at least some timeline), something that Daisy gets a good snicker in. And Enoch even gets some very funny, dry, Spock-esque lines to keep things going.
Second, there’s the question of whether Deke will choose to kill Voss (the guy who took out his dad, allegedly in self-defense) to get revenge, whether he’ll choose to kill Daisy to try to save the world, or whether he’ll choose neither and stay pure and good. The moral dilemma part didn’t land with me because you just knew he wasn’t going to turn on the good guys at this point in the story, despite his past defections. Still, it culminates in a perfectly serviceable fight between Daisy and Sonara, with Deke giving an assist, and our heroes getting off the ground and into space, so it’s all good.
Last, but certainly not least, we have Mack, Yo-Yo, Flint, and a revived Tess plotting against Kassius who’s equally plotting against them. I both enjoyed and was kind of annoyed at this storyline. On the one hand, I like Mack and Yo-Yo having to teach the humans how to fight and being clever to defeat Kassius. On the other hand, this was a chunk of the story that had a lot of corny monologuing and overacting. Still, their solution to Kassius’s bombs being planted everywhere was a good one, and it too sets things up for a raging climax.
Overall, not an episode that will knock your socks off, but one with plenty of solid stuff.
My random predictions for the season: 1. I bet the “light in the sky” that destroys the world is actually Thanos, and it’s The Avengers who end up stopping him and preventing this future, with some hidden assist from the Agents of Shield that never makes it to the movies. 2. I bet that Flint is secretly the grandson of Yo-Yo and Mack, because it seems like the kind of twist the show would do. We’ll see!
So, the Fitz-scarf has become a thing now?
I did not enjoy how easy they killed off Sinara, she was such a bad-ass character that it just felt too unbelievable how she was defeated. I felt that if Daisy managed to move the pole just in the nick of time, it would've been more epic. She deserved an epic death.
@aniela krajewska. Yea this is one of the few shows that keeps improving season after season. Glad I went back to it later half of season 1 after dropping it on the early half of season 1 haha.
The fight between the blue girl and daisy was marvelous!
Great episode. Great writing, nice pace and tension buildup. Agents of Shield at it's best. I especially enjoyed Kasius screaming his head off, Sinara skewer and May's mom look bit.

I have no idea how Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. does it. Every single season has been better than the one before it. Never have I seen a show that would rise to new heights in terms of quality year after year like this one. I didn't even think it was possible. It's such a shame that so many people stopped watching it back in season 1 (which I never really understood, by the way; sure, season 1 wasn't as epic as all the later ones, but it was still very good and entertaining - I guess the fans' expectations were impossibly high). It deserves a lot more recognition. It's the best superhero show on TV right now.
I think I'm getting a hang of the whole time travel thing. If I understand correctly, the team is stuck in a loop where they travel to the future, get back to 2017/2018, the world still somehow gets destroyed, they spend the rest of their lives building the time machine so that their past selves can travel to the future, etc. It still makes my brain hurt (and I still don't understand how Enoch and Robin got involved), but it's slightly less confusing now than it was a few weeks ago.
Mama May gives me all the feels. It's a little funny that she can't imagine herself as a mother when she's been basically fulfilling that role for the Bus Kids for the last 4 years. Always there to give pep talks and protect them. Especially to Daisy.
FitzSimmons doing their psychic link thing, finishing each other's sentences and fist bumping is the kind of shit I live for. No joke, I rewinded that moment like 12 times. I love them so much that I want to cry just thinking about it.
Enoch is hilarious. He's made of... plastic? And he has no stomach? Well, damn, now I really want to see what he looks like out of his human suit.
Kasius basically checked off every single bad guy trope in this episode, which made me roll my eyes a bit. Acting like he's a god, monologuing his foes to death... I did like how ferocious Yo-Yo was, though. And Mack's exasperation when Flint kept wanting to fight made me smile.
Tess is back! And she got T.A.H.I.T.I'd! After Gravitonium, this is yet another season 1 storyline that they've brought back. Speaking of Gravitonium, remember that dude that fell into it back in 2013? Whatever happened to him? I can't help but think that he's going to show up at some point.
Sinara is dead. And I was just starting to warm up to her. Her fight with Daisy was pretty epic though. And Deke getting his ass kicked was very satisfying.
Overall, this episode was packed with awesomness, plenty of action, some emotional moments and a bit of humor here and there. I loved it and I can't wait for more.
