DAREDEVIL Season 3 takes us on an ethical rollercoaster. Great action. Great dilemmas. Psychotic new villian. Return of a credible threat. Great character archs for our favourite heroes, Interesting new characters and solid development of those who fill out the world of Daredevil. An altogether great watch. DAREDEVIL has always been my favourite of the Marvel TV series, especially the Netflix series, although the DEFENDERS come a close second. This season was a great addition. My only complaint was that sometimes the story telling became a little bogged down as the characters strove to come to terms with their internal struggles (but this was a small complaint). I give this season an 8.5 (really great) out of 10. [Marvel Universe Action Heroes]
It keeps getting worse. 1st season was a 10. 2nd season was 8. And this one is just a 6 or 7. Spoiler: You will fall asleep.
This combines the best stuff from the first two seasons.
It has the focused, tight storytelling of season 1, and the well paced action/thrills from season 2.
I absolutely love the storytelling in this season, what they do with Fisk (really fresh and interesting angle for a story), and Matt’s character arc. Karen and Foggy also get a lot more to do, and the new additions are intriguing characters as well. You can really feel that these characters are progressing, they’re not afraid to take risks and change the behaviour of established characters between seasons.
Everything is well thought out, everything has dramatic weight, everything has an (often unpredictable) pay off, it’s phenomenal television.
Once again, I have to reiterate that the acting on this show is stellar, Wilson Bethel and Vincent D’Onofrio are scene stealers this season.
Moreover, the production is top notch, this show always knows how to capture a sense of authenticity and grit that’s lacking in most comic book related stuff. It also includes some of the best action scenes of the entire show, I love how they executed Bullseye’s powers.
It’s a pity that they canceled the series after this. Sure, a revival might be on the way, but I can guarantee that the tone of this show, or even the characters for that matter, won’t be captured in the same way when it’s on Disney+.

Absolutely fantastic season of television. Not just the best season of Daredevil, but also the best season of ANY of the Marvel shows. Brilliant.

Season three of Daredevil goes beyond the great first season and gives us something truly fantastic and remarkable.
Season three was very much different but it was so in a good way.
I like the fights in Daredevil but you can only do so much. And just repeating what has worked before can become boring fast. So we get a dark story that puts it's focus clearly more on character than on action. It was the right thing to do at the right time and I loved every minute of it. But when the action comes it always hits like a sledgehammer. Intense fights that are well choreographed.
Acting is, again, top notch. Cox does really well in showing us a struggeling Matt Murdock. D'Onofrio has such a strong presence that pulls you in. As I said before - on both cases they could not have cast a better actor. I don't think Deb Woll deserves the hatred she gets sometimes. I know lot of people don't like Karen but she also has some great scenes this season and Woll shows that she is more than a capable actress herself. And let`s not forget Bethel, another great casting decission. I was a little bit dissapointed by Jay Ali, though, both in terms of the actor and the character.
I am sure next season will have more action as we surely will see more of Bullseye and personally I'd like to see a bit of Fisk, too, if only because of D'Onofrio. After this season this is easily now one of my top 3 shows currently running.
My only complaint was that Dex went from slightly psychotic FBI agent to unbeatable ninja overnight.

absolute shitshow compared to first two seasons. i was wondering why karen behaved like annoying junkie... And why does fisk talk like he is brain damagaged? there are like 3 good scenes of daredevil in the whole season. i forced myself to complete it just to be done with it. thank god they canceled s4
Surprised me quite a bit. Already cancelled by Disney by the time I watched but this ended up being my favorite season. It's right up there with Jessica Jones for best marvel Netflix show

Definitely the best season. First time giving a 10/10 to a season in western television.
I was a big fan of the previous 2 seasons & thankfully season 3 didnt disappoint. Charlie Cox is great again & it was great also to see Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin) back, who for me has become one of the all time great villains. We got to see Bullseye as well, which I really liked too. I really liked another new character, Agent Nadeem & his arc through the series. I thought Karen &Foggys development was handled very well overall too. A great season all round.

This season and the first one of Jessica Jones are easily the best seasons of Marvel's shows on Netflix. Daredevil used to be one of my least favorites but the season changed it. It delivered a mature and entertaining story with carefully selected and fully developed characters, including some of the old cast that I used to hate, somehow shining in this. The lack of endless and nonsensical standoffs against ninjas, or just as never-ending imitations of law series made space for what really mattered - a new multifaceted villain, questions about morality, and truly intense fights.

Probably the best one yet, judging it as a whole. So many great characters introduced and played by wonderful actors. Dex. Ray, Maggie and the return of Fisk truly elevated the season to another level. The quality remained consistent and engaging throughout.
