Isn't his show supposed to be about the kids ? Because right now the parents are much more interesting. Not complaining thought.
Now it's getting exciting.
Can't wait for Janet and Robert's secret relationship to mess things up between the parents xD Victor definitely deserves that blow (he's so despicable... :o), not sure about Tina though.
Molly's great lie after the initial fail was unexpected and really awesome!
Alex & Nico happened much sooner than I expected.
I'd say the best part of this show are the complex character dynamics, interactions, and relationships.
It's getting interesting! I love it when the main characters are on the verge of discovering who they are and what they are capable of doing. Also, the parents. Woah!
We get a look at the parents (and Pride) through Molly's parents' funeral, and how their death might have been connected to Pride... and possibly by one of the group members... but we also get to see that at one point all the parents were family or close to family and sometimes shit gets in the way of family.
It's great to see the kids bonding/reconnecting over investigating their parents, they've become their very own scooby gang.
I lol'd when Mrs Wilder tries to interrogate Molly, but Molly just bounces. I love when they pit the kids (and their cleverness) against the adults (and their authority). Makes for great comedic moments.
Damn, the Wilder's are intense! Ride or Die! When Mrs. Wilder goes after Molly, trying to find out what the kids know, was intense. When Molly reveals that she lied to her, with Wilder's hands on the sirum ready to strike, and then Molly says how the older kids asked her to see if they could get to the alcohol... it was a relief, both for Mrs Wilder and for us... Things shift so quickly from tense to deeply emotional when Molly cracks a bit and we see her struggling with being an orphan and how she feels unwanted. And we are reminded that the parents have a lot of history together, they were friends and Mrs. Wilder offers share memories of her parents with her... And this is such a heavy and touching moment, cause all the mystery and conspiracies, the links between the families isn't only Pride, but kinship.
Shout out to the director for putting Karolina infront of a pink angel mural. Nice visual callout. That painting was made by her grandfather and now I'm sure Karolina's abilities are connected her mom's Church.
Nico has found the wand/Septer!!! LOL, her mom is going to be pissed when she finds her office filled with snow. ALso, love that the house AI system.
Chase and Gert being detectives devolves into flirting.... so cute.... in contrast with Alex and Nico almost getting caught in more ways than one... This has got to be the funniest scene.... Nico trying to divert her mom's attention from her office by making her think Alex and her were hooking up (hilarious as Nico tries to set everything up and Alex is like "what do I do? where do my hands go? do they go on your hips or on your boobs?" Hilarious. Way to take control Nico).
OMG, this show and their last minutes of the episodes... shit hits the fan and their ritual sacrifice was for naught... they are going to need another one and their dead girl shows up dead on the beach.
The shit with the parents is just too much and I love it.
best dialgoue: "maybe we should consider a larping scenario"... "is that where they get dressed up as animals for sex?" "no, that's furries"

So many cool moments in this episode! Alex’ mom interrogating Molly, all the Nico and Alex scenes, Gert checking out Chase’s junk, lol.
