Not even two years into the marriage, Mitsuo already regrets getting married. He laments about married life and how he and his wife doesn't get along. At this time, he meets his ex-girlfriend, Akari, who moved to his neighborhood recently and opened a shop in the area.

Yuka goes back to her parent’s house after submitting the divorce papers. She then comes back with Mitsuo for his grandma, Aiko's birthday when he goes to get her. As Mitsuo catches Ryo cheats on Akari with different women, he goes to her house to tell her about it. Akari avoids the topic and interrupts Mitsuo when he starts to reminisce their past. She convinces herself that she doesn't mind about Ryo cheating on her.

Mitsuo and Yuka tries to outdo each other on social media while they were on a date with other people. Yuka finds out who Mitsuo's ex-girlfriend is. Meanwhile, Mitsuo finds out why Akari broke up with him.

Mitsuo confronts Ryo for not submitting the marriage papers. When Ryo shows it to him, he accidentally takes the papers as Akari shows up. Yuka and Mitsuo have a fight when she comes back from Junnosuke’s. She tells him about how she feels about their marriage. Mitsuo then suggests getting back together but Yuka refuses. Akari finds her marriage papers in Mitsuo’s jacket and realizes the truth.

Mitsuo gets discharged from the hospital. Mitsuo, Yuka, Ryo and Akari goes on a hot springs vacation together. Ryo proposes to Akari again.

Nana confesses her feelings to Mitsuo. Meanwhile, Aiko stumbles upon Junnosuke when Yuka invited him to sleep in her house after his night shift. Mitsuo finds out the truth behind Ryo not being able to commit to one person. He then invites Ryo and Akari to his house to talk about it, but the four of them end up having a fight.

Seeing Ryo's condition, Mitsuo tries to help Ryo get back to his house. Aiko tries to convince Yuka to reconsider their divorce. Meanwhile, Junnosuke proposes to Yuka.

Yuka's dad comes to Tokyo for Mitsuo. They visit Skytree together. Yuka's dad then finds out they have divorced for a period of time. Mitsuo and Akari goes to Shibuya for dinner. They go to the place they have been to together. They drink together and talk about the past. Meanwhile, Yuka is drinking with Ryo.

Yuka tells Akari about kissing Ryo when she got drunk. Mitsuo tries to tell Ryo about him and Akari, but accidentally finds out about Yuka and Ryo's kiss. Their relationship gets more complicated. Again, four of them tries to talk it out.

Akari finds out that she is pregnant with Ryo's baby. Mitsuo tries to help Ryo and Akari patch things up. Meanwhile, Yuka gets convinced by an agent to shoot an adult film. In Yuka's absence, Mitsuo finds solace in an idol group when he was invited to their show by his client.

Mitsuo's dad comes to pick up Aiko to live with him. Mitsuo and Yuka take the opportunity to tell him about their divorce. This leads to a family meeting between the Hamasakis and Hoshinos. In the process, the pair finds out how their parents are also encountering troubles in their marriage. Ultimately, Ryo and Akari rekindle their relationship and decide get married once again.
