Medici 2016

Straight up, the music is on point. Gets you all jacked from the title sequence onward.

loved the first season, absolutely hate season 2 ! the Medici family all look like they belong in Twilight and will turn into vampires at any moment while their arch enemy the Pazzi family look like a pack of ware wolfs lol, ruined the show.

The music is definitely praiseworthy and creates just the right mood and atmosphere.

As a period drama, fantasy show, historical inaccuracies aside, they don't claim its a documentary, this is quite a gripping show. In fact I like historical inaccuracies in these shows, without them and without the writers creating fiction, there'd be little suspense and no surprises. :)

Vanni wiping a single tear made the show.

There were a lot of frustrating moments which I just chalked up to the series's faithfulness to history, but I'm pretty sure some of them can be explained by the awful writing. Still a positive experience overall.

This show does a great job of showing how corrupt, supporters of god are. It’s amazing how a made up person has controlled so much of history.

How did the Medici survive all these centuries. According to this show they were a bunch of idiots that got manipulated easily. Their enemy can make 1 statement & they are thrown in jail or people consider them bad. Only if the writers did a better job than being lazy. Too bad, the poor writing takes the joy out of this show. Oh yea and it’s very repetitive; every episode is pretty much the same. The only saving grace is that the musical score & scenery are amazing.

I really liked it, it forced me to read more about the characters in real life. I liked how they defined the last chapter of the third season.

I'm so disappointed by this show. Could not even finish the first season.

This was basically Days of our Lives in tights.

If you want a hey-nonny-nonny series, watch Da Vinci.
