The episode was not as good as the previous one, maybe due to lack of Morgana, who is my favourite character. For one, the knight of Camelot finally learn how to use bows, and that is a plus. Some scenes, such as the reunion of Merlin with the father he had never known, and Arthur's conversation with Merlin before the battle, when they believe they are going to die, are somewhat moving, but there are also some elements that are too bombastic and full of pathos. Of course, Merlin's and Arthur's plot armours do remove a lot of tension in this episode just like in all others.
