Well I for one liked the episode...I didn't expect everything to be shown or explained on the first episode but I'm looking forward to how this series develop and hopefully I'm not disappointed lol.
The First episode was a disappointment for me, only 20 minutes of story spread out over the hour, because of this, nothing rally happens in it. I will give the series a second chance, but as it is, I do not recommend it.
-note: The show does have a good look, and interesting characters, so I do have hope for it.

A pilot episode always has the tough job of walking that line between setting the table and setting the hook. This one does a better job with the former than with the latter. We get a good sense of the town and a good feel for some of its principal residents -- enough to bring me back for more so that I can see if the story itself starts to get some meat on its bones. In short, it met my expectations, but my expectations weren't that high.
