Experience one of the most spectacular train trips in Norway. Follow minute by minute as the track goes by high mountains and fjords. The trip starts of at 866m above sea level at Myrdal station by Bergensbanen, and travels down to Flåm by Sognefjorden.
During the Nordic Ski World Championship, hundreds of thousands of people visited the area in Holmekollen. Most of them used Holmenkollbanen to get out in the fields and to the stadium. When Holmenkollbanen was opened in 1898, it was Norway's first suburban railway. Today it is part of Oslo's metro system and transports residents and tourists to Holmenkollen and Frognerseteren. The recordings were made before the female 30km ski run.
All the way since 1893, passengers has traveled along the Norwegian coastline with Hurtigruten. The trip is called "Worlds most beautiful voyage at sea". Now you can take take part in this magnificent voyage lasting over 135 hours in the worlds longest TV program.
