This a relatively unknown show, but I think its worth a watch. It’s pretty hilarious. I only made it through the first season and I didn’t have any desire to watch the others because theres like all new characters. I was too attached to the originals. I like the character interactions and banter. The plot is good too! Worth trying.
MY THOUGHTS ON MISFITS:

NOW THIS IS GREAT BRITISH TELEVISION!!! This show literally defined my early teenage years and I can't be grateful enough for it. Every plot point was great, the early characters were perfect (the later ones were great but nowhere near as good) and the powers were all interesting enough to help flow the story perfectly.
The first couple seasons were my favourites with the original cast members. Of course like most fans of the show my favourite character was Nathan, unfortunately for us he left and decided to live his own life (which is actually really mature for his character) so with one great leaving we were left with a new member... And lets be honest, Rudy was a pretty good replacement.
Even though this will always be a favourite of mine I can't consider it a 10/10 because of the later seasons, I just felt like they were rushed too much and the characters weren't likeable enough like the previous group was. It was still very entertaining it just wasn't as entertaining as the previous seasons were.
I noticed with the later seasons the powers started getting a bit sillier (which is hard seeing as we literally had a guy who can control milk). It never ruined the show for me, it just stopped me enjoying it as much as I enjoyed the previous seasons.
Overall I'll always enjoy this show and consider it a favourite. The early seasons are some of the best seasons I have ever watched and the later seasons are brilliant and beautiful in their own right. I will always recommend this show to people who love things about Superheroes and want to know a little bit more about England. This is 100% a British great.

Season 1 was great, after that they were just milking the story. Being able to create characters with whatever 'super-power' a writer chooses lends itself to lazy storytelling -- like killing characters for 'dramatic-effect' and then bringing them back to life...
Episode four it's fantastic.
I started watching this because Trakt recommended it for me. The characters and cast seems to change every season (explained through weird abrupt reasons) but they all share the same traits: on community service, posses a power and they have a story. I was sad to see Nathan disappear as he always brought random and inappropriate humor to everything. But she's replaced with Rudy who I came to like very fast.
A lot of the happenings are surprisingly compelling at times, genuine loss, love and heartbreak all around. I was captivated all the way through, a real thrill ride. I hope it's doing well in the UK because I'd definitely want to see more.

They've lost me with season 2, was really pushing for this to pick back up again, but the dynamic is off now. Don't care for the new characters and the new powers they have are horrible and never used. Off to find something else now, I guess.
Misfits - :heart:x7
The first 2 seasons are a hilarious, quirky, somewhat dirty British comedy. Robert Sheehan is annoyingly funny.
Starting with season 3, Sheehan is replaced with Joseph Gilgun who is a pale imitation of Sheehan.
I found that in seasons 4&5 Shaun Dooleys character was the most interesting.
How I rate:
1-3 :heart: = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6 :heart: = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too
9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!

I am so happy I stuck with this show from start to finish. This show was funny, sad and intense. Great actors and great storyline.
brilliant show when it released, felt like the first of its kind and the acting was amazing, much like a lot of other shows though it started to dull and feel played out and that they were milking it
gave up by start of season 4, the first 3 seasons were amazing though, 1 and 2 in particular with Robert Sheehan were teh best seasons as the characters had fantastic chemistry between them at the time

This Masterpiece of a show is one of the most Awesome and best shows ever made.
Every single season is hilarious and super frickin awesome amazing and the humour from all seasons is off the frickin charts.
I ugly laugh from the very start of the show to the very end. This show does not have one bad episode at all and the cast from Team 1 and Team 2 are amazing and it's definitely what made this show so amazing and was they got rid of that annoying prick Nathan who forced every laugh that weren't even that funny, to replace him with the king of comedy himself Rudy well that's when this show became flawless perfection.
In this woke,pc,sjw bull-crap society we live in today just makes this show even more special and sadly we will never see the likes of ever again.

MISFITS is one Hella of a ride and I am so glad I own the hole show on
Blu Ray boxset so I can watch it in all it's glory over and over and over again.
This show is an absolute Masterpiece and is the best fun you will ever have with a show and from every WTAF moment to the other it is a privilege and a honour to be able to have such a laugh with such a Naughty show that is not scared of going anywhere are saying anything,

its been a few years...watched this when i was on TVMuse, or what that board used to be called before that.... Anyway, there was a sense of watching it with others, and waiting each week -- I don't think id rec binging it.
Adding this comment now bcuz recently watched "mortal engines" and recognized Tom (Robert Sheehan), was also Nathan in "Misfits"
"Misfits," to someone like me (USA Trekkie)...well, I'd never seen anything like it. It's a classic. Some of the story arcs were quite poignant, while others were just crude and fun...to my viewpoint it was made real by the actors' strong characterizations. I knew they were actors, playing parts, but being mostly a stranger to British TV, I couldn't separate them from the characters. Nathan Young was such a strong character -- well, not "strong," but fully formed.... As I watched "Mortal Engines" I really wanted to see more of Nathan's character coming through -- silly of me, I know. And, it's not that I had a favorite character in "Misfits" (loved them all). I started flipping through random eps to remind myself who had what powers and how they worked together and apart.
Dropped at season 4. It was brilliant up until then.
They should've ended it with the original cast instead of trying so hard to keep it going with an empty storyline and shabby characters such as the annoying dumbass Finn.
The only interesting character was Rudy and I wanted to keep watching it just for him but I couldn't bring myself to sit through this mindless torture.
Season 1,2 & 3 are good, but season 4 and 5 are not at the same level.
Also Rudy character is the best of season 4&5.
Not something you wanna watch with your parents.

Not my cup of tea. Pun intended. I watched 3 episodes. It didnt get any better. British street tugs in some horror flick for the first episodes and then business as usual. Not interesting for me. I'm not a big fan of British series, time and again it's confirmed. I dont know why I still bother trying. Perhaps I'll try the American version of this series some time.
I don't know if it's a good idea to proceed further e5 of s1. I love the whole of super powers and I hoped this one was a good show but it's very static and no thrilling at all. You guys say this is the best. Should I endure until s2?

I love this show!!!First I thought it would be bad :D Boy, was I wrong...And I really like the last seasons with the new characters. I don't like that they put together Jess and Rudy - it was a bit weird and I wanted Jess and Alex to get back together :(

fond memories thinking about misfits, particularly because I loved how the people of seasons 1-2/3 were a total RIOT on social media! that was the golden period, and their youtube videos and tweets (from the characters themselves!) made my day all the time. hilarious and crazy videos as if they were filmed sneakily in the world of Misfits by Simon or Nathan. (Area 51!) @simonmisfits and the others tweeting as if they were real really added to the experience. great marketing by Channel 4 I'd say! Robert was great in interviews, and he always had the funniest lines on youtube and in the show.
I stopped when season 2 ended, partially cause Robert left :( continued season 3 when it aired, but stopped again because just like many people I couldn't feel the same magic. I know it got better again with Rudy, so maybe I'd go back to it one day. the thrill of the first 2 or 3 seasons was something that I'd never experience again ♥︎
Season 1, 2 and 3 were fantastic.
Season 4 felt like a poor continuation at first, but got better once the gang settled in more with each other. Season 5 had its moments, but ultimately proved the series lost its spark once it resorted to someone having to rape the devil out of a character.
Loved the first 3 season, not at all the others. :/
Finally finished all 5 seasons. Absolutely loved it all. Loved Rudy, loved the last probation worker especially he was hilarious. Shame its finished, the final episode was a bit weird but worked out in the end. Hard to end a show like this anyways but they did it justice.
Gonna miss Misfits. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't seen it. 5 seasons was just the right amount. Nothing else like it.
