A new enemy, the Moog Magister, is planning to take the monsters in the Ancient Armory. Zick meets a new Tamer named Bobby Clash, and Elena finds a baby Bombo she named Bombolo.
A criminal named Scabby escapes from prison, while a Grunt named Grood escapes after Teddy accidentally release him. Zick and Elena must capture Grood who is robbing the city, while Scabby's friends Bone and Roulette mistake him for their boss Scabby as Grood.
Patty and Mattie were kidnapped by a Mugalak named Mugmug in Drink Water Park. Zick, Elena, along with Bombo and Bombolo try to rescue them, only to find that Mugmug was forced to capture them by two other Mugalaks, Ragador and Sulfurious.
Zob and Greta prohibited Zick from Taming due to his dropping grades at school. Zick secretly took the Universal Dombox that still contains a Chameleon, which ended up to Harvey's Supermarket. While trying to get the Dombox, they find out that Delia is trying to get Elena's father removed from his job by stealing from his supermarket.
Bombolo is sent away to Kamaludum-Si to be the prince of the baby Bombos. Sad that Elena is depressed because of Bombolo departure, Zick took her and Bombo to visit the City of the Baby Bombos. They found out the place was deserted, and that the baby Bombos are being enslaved by a Gingi named Carmela along with a Gragnock name Gurgle.
The Barrymore house is threatened to be demolished due to the discovery of the hidden sub cellar and its weak foundation. Zick investigates the sub cellar and finds out that the Sluggos are causing the damage in order to free their fellow monsters.
Moog Magister ordered Emily to put a Metamorphic potion, one that affects only Tamers, in water bottles to turn Zick into a monster called a Bommerbang, to be hunted down and captured by the other Tamers. Zick turns to Elena, the only person who believes that the monster is Zick, and together they go to the Anguanes' Lair to create an antidote. At the end Zick wrote a letter and confessed Elena that he loved her, only for it to be eaten by Bombolo.
Zick and Elena are relaxing in the beach, until they encounter the pirate ship the Unicorn now run by a new captain name Baht Belasco, who had been plundering other boats in the sea. Zick and Elena, along with Bombo, went to the Quicksilver river to find Bristlebeard to ask for help to stop and reclaim the Unicorn.
Zick was in charge of the house since his parents and Timothy can't come due to the snowy weather. A Dark Tamer named Hector Sinistro sabotaged Zick's Teleskates to turn his entire body into ice, shrank him using a shrink ray that he stole from Uzka, and put him in a snow globe so that he can get his long-awaited revenge against Zick's father.
Two new detainees, Lali Bergingigonz and Paruto Porro escapes the Barrymore Detention Oasis to Foggy Island. Zick and Elena along with Bombo were sent to capture them. They found a secret Oasis led by a Bobak name Riz Brandak along with other escaped monsters, and encounter a Purpidoch.
Zick, Teddy and Bobby try to get a potion to remove their pimples before Lay's birthday party after eating Brim-Bombak special dessert. Elena accidentally fed Bombolo milk and biscuits after sunset, and causing to produce evil pimple clones. Zick, Elena, and Bombo, along with Teddy and Bobby, try to stop them before they reproduce more pimple clones by using the same potion to remove their pimples.
When Elena encounters a bobaks that escapes from being kidnapped and learns that some of monsters in Bibbur-Si are starting to go missing, Zick and Elena investigate. They found a circus caravan and finding out that Hector Sinistro was kidnapping the monsters and making them perform for his circus. Along with Bombo, they make a plan to stop Sinistro and to free the monsters.
The Tamers have a tournament to determine who wins the prestigious Armory Cup. Teddy was caught cheating, but while doing his punishment, he was attacked. All the exits of the Armory were sealed off, and someone attacked Jeremy. Zick, Elena, Lay, Bobby and Teddy decide to take the secret exit leave the Armory, but they were also attack by Viziosed. Zick later learns that everything was plotted by his old enemy, Magnacat.
After Magnacat took control of the Ancient Armory, Zick escapes to Bibbur-Si to get help of Trengingigan. They go back to the Armory to meet up with Elena, Lay, Bobby and Teddy, who survived the encounter with Viziosed. They team up to make a plan to stop the Gorkas, and Magnacat once and for all.
Big-burg is celebrating their three hundred years of its foundation by releasing fireworks at midnight. Jeremy orders Zick, Elena and Bombo along with the young tamers to stop a group called the darkness guardians from ruining to celebration by blacking out the city to cause a confusing, stealing the firework and using it attack the suspended city.
Bombo sadly goes back to Bibbur-Si after causing some mischief in the Ancient Armory and other things. After not hearing from him in two weeks, Zick and Elena goes to Big-burg to look for him, and found out that he was wrestling as the Almighty King in the Skeleton Arena. They learn that Hector Sinistro was controlling and using him to make profit for his own, and they decide to asked Brim-Bombak to help them to bring Bombo back.
At the museum, Charles Carpentry has discovered a giant vase that he states is Pandora's Box, and proclaimed he will open it. After careful observation, Zob and Timothy find out the vase is actually a Dombox containing a Rooge. Zick, Elena, and Bombo decide to steal the vase to prevent the monster's release. They meet another Tamer name Kostas Daniel La Bun, who offers to bring back the vase to Greece after saying Charles actually stole the vase.
Emily created a fear formula that whoever inhales it will be afraid of anything that they sees, and plans to spread it in Halloween. Zick and Elena were affected by the formula while Bombo wasn't due to having a cold in his nose. Bombo helps Zick to Elena to find the antidote and to stop the Anguanes before the spread the formula to cause panic throughout Oldmill Village.
After noticing shadows are misplace to other people shadows, Zick and Elena investigate it and discovered that Hector Sinistro is making a shadow army to attack the armory to obtain his treasure. Being discovered, Hector stole Zick's shadow to remove his memories to able to know where his treasure is hidden. Elena along with Theo, Tessa and Bombo decides to find Sinistor to get Zick's shadow back.
When Bombo ate too much candy and accidentally destroys the alliance contract with the Bobaks, he was banish by the Maximum Tutors form Bibbur-Si until he loses some weight. Zick and Elena decides to help him by go camping at Drink Water Park to get exercise and a diet. They met some peaceful shamans to help the ghosts in the forest, and turns out to be Dark Phantoms that were smuggles to scare people and to steal supplies.
When their class was canceled due to the train that Ms. Swift and the passengers in the subway went missing, Zick and Elena along with Bombo investigate the subway find that a Megarock has eaten the train and they were able to save the passengers. They later learn that Hector Sinistro was using the worm monster to try to attack to Ancient Armory underneath by kidnapping and threatening its babies to do his bidding.
Chumba Bagingi escapes his Dom Box with the helps his lover, Chumbamba. When they saw Zick and Elena rehearsing for the play The Phantom of the Opera, they decide to join and help the play to attract themselves to people. Zick and Elena tries to capture them, and while stopping someone that was sabotaging the play by acting as the phantom.
When hearing that theirs a vampire roaming in Oldmill Village, Zick and Elena investigate it. When tracking him down to their school, they learn that their principal has a brother name Bowleg who is actually a vampire that wanted to find an Anguan to cure him. They decide to help him by going to Emily's house to make an antidote to make him human again.
After Zick suffered a bad day in the Ancient Armory, he goes home in a bus and fells asleep. When he woke up, he was shocked to learn that he was in the future now and Magnacat had taken over Big Burg and all the tamers were all captured. When he's fighting the Gorkas, he later realizes that it was all a fake illusion created by the Moog Magister and the Anguanes.
Zick, Teddy and Bobby argue each other which one of them is the best tamer to capture the Polypolipo that Jeremy decides to give them a test of courage by going to the swamp to an old house full of Dark phantoms and to which one of them can capture a Polypolipo first. Unknown to them, Jeremy plans to teach them a lesson by bringing Elena, Lay and Bombo to trick them by pretending to be Dark Phantoms in the old house. However, their plans backfired when they encountered real Dark phantoms and when Zick, Teddy and Bobby found out, they decide to summon a Polypolipo to save them.
The Anguanes tries to please the Moog Magister by setting a party to celebrating his 301st birthday, but he ended up destroy everything for being frustrated to not having monsters for his potion and spells. Emily brought Hector Sinistro, and can help him get to the Ancient Armory by going to the Hundred and First Door. The Tamer were having party to celebrating the end of the school year in the Ancient Armory, but it was short lived when the Hundred and First Door was open to releasing the lava form the inside. Zick tries to stop Moog Magister from capturing Bombolo for eating his magical bag that contains all the Domboxes in the crypt, and to stop Hector Sinistro when he acquired the Scepter Dom to control all monsters to his will.
