Absolutely loving this. Oscar Issac is giving one hell of a performance as Steven/Mark and seeing both the Moon Knight suits was so Awesome!! Ethan Hawke is also definitely giving such creepy vibes. Khonshu is just Perfect too!! The invisible fight scene its so well done.

Is this show supposed to be so... cartoon-y ? It's just so over the top ridiculous, in the acting and character interactions.

I thought it would be darker and grittier, but it's giving off a teen-show vibe. That damn stereotypical accent definitely does not help this not seem comedic.

I am always surprised with how creatively they incorporate mirrors into seemingly everything.

Marc looking through the gun was a very neat visual.

I think the akward Steven part is a bit over the top. That kind of stuff is wearing out fast. And with only six episodes (that are now listed) they already spent a third without really getting somewhere. Things really need to pick up next week.

loading replies

This show is a mess that doesn't make any sense, so far. I don't see why it's getting praised.
The action scenes with the jackals remind me of Eternals. And that isn't praise, by the way.

loading replies

this show is literally just getting better
i'm still very confused on who came first, steven or marc but i'm here for it

i also don't understand the suit thing, is his power just mainfesting anything? also chill out konshuu

i love the relationship between ethan hawke and khonshu, it's so cool and suave

The protagonist is soooo annoying. Sure, they can make the main character a little weird, so he gets more relatable or likeable by the audience, but this is just too over the top. I just kept wishing he handed control to the other guy and never came back lol

loading replies

Finding the Steven character so annoying that I'm not sure I want to watch anymore.

loading replies

This show is just boring and annoying. Bad structure and no real plot.

please PLEASE hire english writers

Hate the weekly drops but definitely worth a watch and look forward to how the series will play out.

Loved this episode. Only wish the CGI was better.

loading replies

Steven’s beta shtick is wearing thin for me. Ethan Hawke plays a very compelling villain so far. Still interested where the story goes, just wish the combat and cgi was better.

loading replies

I'm coming to really dislike Steven. Second episode raises more questions than it answers.

loading replies

Steven's whole... thing... is definitely very grating, but I guess that's kinda the whole point. I'm sure we were all cheering along when Marc smashed the hell out of that mirror at the end — I know I was.

loading replies

This is so much better than I expected. Oscar is awesome.

Secret storage lockers, secret personalities, and a secret wife to boot. Every detail became more interesting in this one.

Really loving this show so far! Had forgotten how much Egyptian mythology was involved in this series.

At times, I was finding myself getting irritated with Steven because he just sorta shuts down but also - that's a fair reaction against getting attacked by ancient Egyptian jackal demons when you're just a normal person.

Some absolutely wonderful performances. And how in the heck did i not realize sooner this is directed by psychedelic horror wizards Benson and Moorehead? That alone is enough to make me obsessed with this series.

Eagerly awaiting the next one. Having a wonderful time watching this with my sweetheart @TheMysticWood.

I’m sorry but I hate watching Steven

Scan the QR code on the storage locker next to the number 043 and you’ll get to read a Moon Knight comic for free.

This show is amazing. Please let it maintain the pace and action for the rest of the series

Funny and good, very good episode

This episode wasn't able to match the strong first episode. Hope this picks back up.

I gotta say, I'm not in love with this yet. I'm not hating it either but being the first show without anyone we already know in it yet I think it's important for me to like Moon Knight a little more, and so far I'm not too into him. Pretty much the same way I felt about the Eternals but since we're waiting a week at a time for more story it's starting to feel like it's dragging its feet just a little. This show would've benefitted by dropping both episodes 1 and 2 at once since honestly neither moved the story along too much, and I'm left wondering why I should care about this scrab beetle thing or how any of it will connect to the bigger picture eventually.

Hey, 4 more episodes, could get more interesting but right now I just feel like it'd benefit a lot by mixing in someone we already care about since right now I kinda don't care about anything on it.

Much, much better than the first episode.

Nothing bothers me more than having a character who's made to be a whiny, annoying... dude, fighting whatever his nature revealed to him is and playing the everyday fella completely oblivious of everything the situation requires. Not having difficulties coming to terms with it and not accepting it at first, but saying stuff like I'm going to the authorities with all the stuff I've found in this bag in this room. Not freaking out but trying to understand how to act, no. Behaving like a kid running away, and whimpering and... it was ok in the pilot for comedic and surprise purposes, but now it's gettin tiring .
It's not even about embracing them immediately, of course. It's about not behaving like Mr. Bean with wide eyes to every fight, monster and thing one encounters.

It's well shot, has an interesting premise, the cast is great... but this thing is unbearable.
Steven Grant is unbearable.

Very interesting to learn all these things together with Steven. At least Steven, Marc, and Layla make sense now. I don't understand the other characters yet though (Harrow and the gods/creatures).

loading replies

Ok this one was way better I understand it way more now apart from how he stayed in control but meh. I really love Steven he really does try but it just not enough poor guy.

loading replies

using mirrors to represent marc/steven's did is super smart, i love it

loading replies

Much better than the terrible first episode now that Moorhead & Benson are in the director's chair.

loading replies

just like 2 mistakes but everything else is perfect
really like it

61 | The color tone was perfect for this episode. It has a dark theme blended with moonlight, also warmth colors several times appeared. We got a bit more understanding about Egypt's ancient God who need a human avatar to live. But it also made Marc Spector's character backstories unclear, how and when he was in Steven's body. Was Marc even a human? Was that Marc or Steven's original body?

shout out to marvel for putting self-cest back on the table with this one.

I like Steven suit, that’s cool.

loading replies

Enjoyable again. Steven is a bit of a sissy. I wonder if he'll man up later. He was becoming irritating. I hope he's not like that all season

loading replies

This bit with Steven being a complete whimpering idiot all of the time is really tiresome. I wish they would tone that down and bring more of the kick ass parts.

They should have gone full dark with it. Comes off like a CW show (with the CGI budget to match).
Honestly got bored this episode. The highlight was topless Oscar Issac tbh.

when did the mcu get so silly and dumb and... bad? oh my god, i just wanted to see people treating each other like actual adults in the real world, not these dialogues that seem to be made for children (and this is actually insulting to children, i'm sorry)

and the EDITING on this episode??? that was really terrible.

loading replies

Not really loving this show. I expect more from Marvel, as filmography in 2008 from them was better
