Ok, so THAT... happened... but let's talk about Michael Horse aka The Marshall, that man is BEAUTIFUL! He's apparently 71/72 but my goodness he has aged like fine wine! I can totally see why the President was drawn to him and his megawatt smile. Gonna have to bump Twin Peaks up the watch list and maybe rewatch the episodes of X-Files he starred in. Wooh, The Marshall was the second best thing about this episode, everything else was... well... whatever.
Pointless wedding episode, pandering to the shippers. Watch the first and last 5 minutes and skip the rest of this one.

Some important emotional pay-offs this ep. ...Did it feel a bit rushed? Sure, but...tears of joy while it lasted! (And, I liked hearing Rae sing to her sweety!)
Going to miss this show.

Such an odd episode. It took such a gear shift from what it was building in multiple places and suddenly wrapped them up with jarringly neat bows.
Alder was suddenly fine, Prez, Marshall and M made it out the situation that only moments before seemed dire, everyone got married la la la.
I can only assume it was around this point that they knew this would be a final season so had to expedite threads that weren't meant to be finished yet.
A similar thing happened with the final season of Angel but felt a bit more organic there at least.
