I understood that the events of this episode could happen, they were warned from the beginning. But it still hurts to find the truth, just as it hurts to lose a loved one.

Perhaps the writers left us clues in the previous episodes, giving focus to the presence of Bruce and his relationship with Ray and Brittany. Also, how he witnesses the death of a great friend, who gave him the gift that he would not be the one who had to kill him. And even the loss of his daughter, Maddy, where Ray finds himself overwhelmed and guilty, as we have rarely seen him.

But reaching the climax, Bruce playing one last time with Britt and then saying goodbye and having his last talk with Ray was too painful. These mentioned episodes and with the culmination of the last one make me feel so much pain and break my heart.

"One lives, but it is unknown if anybody really dies."

"Matter cannot cease to exist. It can only change forms... So nobody dies."

Why did you do this to me? Bit by bit, this show has been tearing me apart. It's moving. This was difficult. And beautiful.

All the actors on this show have been wonderful, but I'd like to give a shout out to Nicholas Cassim for his portrayal of Ray's brother Bruce. What a wonderful performance. Truly.

The characters surrounding Ray could by extension represent aspects of his humanity... and one by one, they've gone. When none are left, what will Ray be? They're his... anchors. What will happen when Ray is wholly untethered?

Tough episode, but really great TV again from this show. Nicholas Cassim is so great with the little things as Bruce. Go watch the new series The Twelve to see just how good he is.
