just when i thought that this show could'nt f*ck with my mind any longer, it goes beyond my expectations and comes out with the huge twist that everything was just a coping mechanism Elliot deployed, and he concealed the fact that he was in prison all along;
also the build up in some moments of this season, alongside the music & audio design perfectly nailed the high stress situations the characters go through;
& that moment where Elliot switched places, and became the one who was the Invisible Observer was GOOOOD.
also, it's been getting deeper and deeper, i can only imagine how season 3 & 4 are gonna be
Big applause for the big plot twist for this season of Mr. Robot.
A truly unexpected story. And closed with an ending that has nothing (just like season 1).
Saying it's a slow burner would be quite the understatement but when it burns, it really does. And it's so beautifully shot and acted that you tend to forgive every mistake.
First season was amazing and I loved it !
This second season was slow from the start and had to force myself to go on watching it.
I was hoping that it would get better...well, made it to the end and it was boring !
Nothing happens, it's way too complicated to stay focused and to understand the too twisted plot.
What a huge disappointment !
First season it was ok,
second one booorrrring
just watched now the final episode, didnt understand nothing of that and i was thinking to myself what a waste of my time watching this episodes
if you read this, avoid the second season, and remember the first one.
i'm quite disappointed on how even people waste money producing this :\
A little too large in scope and a little too experimental with it's direction, Season 2 of Mr. Robot feels like a wobble after the streamlined, well rounded delivery of Season 1. While I enjoyed the focus on the global consequences brought in by the actions of Season 1, I felt overall the increased scope only made everything feel too stretched out and watered down compared to the fully realised nature of the preceding season. Big moments feel almost lost in the web the show is trying to weave while rapidly expanding, all whilst pulling out the same "tricks" with Elliots mental state that come off a little hollow after they've already been used before. With all that negativity said, I still enjoyed this season, it just needs the fat trimmed and a tighter focus to hit the heights that were set by the first season. Playing the main mystery up until the literal last minute was very good, and I liked that some focus was given to the directly connected members of fsociety rather than it all being about Elliot. I have high hopes for Season 3 and 4 because I've heard nothing but good things, and many regard Season 2 as the low-point, so I'm excited to get cracking and see what everyone is raving about.
Season 2 has been overall a bit too slow, but the last few episodes were satisfying enough. Esmail's arthouse ambitions and pointless deviations are not always tasteful, but I appreciate that he is trying to do something different than your average show. While the first season kept both the characters and the audience in the dark, this time it's Elliot who purposedly betrays the narrator-narratee trust relationship. Was it necessary? Probably not, but it is an effective way to remind us that we should keep questioning whatever happens, thus building up to the big question mark raised in the finale. Kudos to episode six for doing WandaVision five years in advance.
The show needs to make Elliot just one person to make the show more interesting. I hope season 3 gives us that. That double personality is way past its prime. It's just boring now.

A solid season, I don't think it was as strong as season 1, each episode of season 1 had a 'great' moment, whereas this season seemed to have either 'great' episodes or fairly slow ones, I can recall at least 4 episodes that I wasn't too keen on. But saying that this is till one of the best shows on TV at the moment and I can't wait to see what they bring to us in season 3. Rami Malek plays Elliot so well and I'll see this show to the end just for him and the fantastic writing.
Season 2 - 8/10
