The Three Wise Men who visit Christ are the most mysterious characters in the Bible. They are the first recorded Christians in history - the first to worship Christ. Each year they appear on thousands of Christmas cards, and hymns about them are sung in cathedrals around the world.
They were the most powerful and influential family in the world. Richer than the Rockefellers, mightier than the Tudors. They were the Medici. They bankrolled the Renaissance and ignited the Reformation. They were soldiers, bankers, politicians and Popes - and they dominated Europe for 300 years.
In April 1167 B.C the unthinkable happenad. The Pharaoh was murdered in his harem. The murderers used black magic to silence the guards and a poisonous snake to finish him off. The plot was led by ladies of the harem but also had the backing of some thirty senior courtiers. Then Hollywood made him "The Mummy." Today, Egyptologists may have found his tomb, and it could be the greatest discovery of the 2Oth century.
