It's not only one of the best anime, but one of the best series I've ever seen. I don't understand why people don't mention it more, why they let it get lost in the "sea of anime". Maybe because it's too real? Everything here is beautiful, heartbreaking, merciless, yet beautifully portrays emotions and thoughts, not to mention the opening and ending music, which is a special part of the series. What makes the series special is that there is nothing supernatural, no shounen in it, and it shows real life, real situations, partly today's ruthless capitalist system, partly today's music industry. You can learn a lot from this series about what the real love is, growing up and taking responsibility, how we express our emotions, and the consequences of suppressing them. This series is definitely worth watching!

Pretty good show overall, I liked it better than expected for a romance drama. I was very confused by the ending, I'm not sure if it got cancelled or not, I'm going to check the manga 'cause the anime definitely left things unfinished.
