"Little Girl Lost" really belongs to William Windom. He stars as Prof. Putnam and gives a very psychotic, scenery-chewing (per usual), but overall heart-warming performance as a brilliant scientist who continues to mourn for his deceased daughter. Ed Nelson is also good as Tom, the sympathetic bodyguard of Putnam. The ending lacks the impact it was supposed to have because the story never really conveys the government's desire for the formula that Putnam is working on. Also, the special effects shots at the end offer no real scale or perspective as to what just happened. The viewer has to do a little too much interpretation in this case for my taste. Also, the guy who plays the psychiatrist is awful.
