Boring and an annoying lead that is too old and did I day annoying. The showrunners got this all wrong
Best episode of the season, so far, by a decent degree. These last two episodes have stepped the series up, pulling us closer to its intended depth.
I'm really going to miss Jolene, now that I've seen the real her... (Oh, and also especially because without her advanced powers, we're left even more ridiculously underpowered/useless in the face of violence; or at least until Vic, and potentially Maggie, can mature enough to learn what else they can do.. since, confusingly, even after witnessing Jolene's knife's ability to escape/teleport when at speed, Vic acted like she didn't yet know what Jolene's magic trick was — and, indeed, she was correct that there was another one; suggesting that both Maggie and Vic have at least one other thing they should be able to do, once they learn it, since Manx and Jolene can both do at least two things — Manx's two apparently being life transfer [vampirism, a la the show title's allusion] via the cabin of his Wraith, and a full mental connection with it, including mind control over it [perhaps also meant to be simplified as part of vampirism, with his car being his modern day "familiar"?].. not to mention more than those two, as he can— well, never mind that for now.)
Cool special effects idea, with the eyes in The Dark Tunnels; I can't specifically recall seeing that done in anything else before.

This was an interesting and entertaining hour of TV, and one where the backstory actually mattered instead of merely being filler.
