Linda Dykes is a compulsive cleaner from North Wales. She loves cleaning so much she's set up her own cleaning agency. Linda believes that compulsive cleaners have a special set of skills that could change the habits of the nation, and so she's teaming up with other obsessive cleaners to help clean Britain's dirty homes and filthy public spaces. Each week these compulsive cleaners are carefully matched with someone whose home is in dire need of a major 'spring clean'.

Mother and daughter Lesley and Tuesday follow a strict routine of scrubbing, bleaching and dusting, so single mum Sonia, from Farnham in Surrey, could do with their help tackling 20 years' worth of clutter - some of which is preventing her from shutting her bathroom door. Meanwhile, gym owner Vinny, from Sheffield, heads to Margate in Kent, where Robin shares his filthy home with six dogs.

Hygiene-obsessed mother-of-two Jade cleans uninterrupted for six hours every day and goes to great lengths to avoid contact with grease and animal hair. She's paired up with Deborah, whose home in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, has been overrun by six goats, which are free to roam almost everywhere. Meanwhile, mother-of-three Lynsey heads to Blackpool, where newlyweds Scott and Faith are getting by without a kitchen and living among hoards of electrical items.

Ben spends up to two hours a day cleaning his kitchen hob despite the fact he has only used it once, and doesn't sleep in his bed for fear of creasing the sheets. He heads to Guildford, Surrey, to meet upholsterer and craft enthusiast Gerri, whose home is stuffed with three years' worth of material waiting to be upcycled. Also waging a war on dirt is Sarah, who became obsessed with cleanliness after having her first baby. She travels to Coventry to help brothers Andy and Mikk, but is shocked to find an untidy living room and a wall being used as a dartboard on her arrival.

Richard from Hastings bleaches and cleans his fridge at least four times a week. He attempts to help dog minder Linda, from Brentwood, Essex, who can have up to ten dogs in her home at any one time. Louise, from Wiltshire, cleans her sink around eighteen times a day and travels to Swindon to help Michelle, who is a hoarder.

Louise who spends up to thirty hours each week cleaning her house travels to Portsmouth to help Tim who only gives his kitchen a clean at Easter and Christmas. Victoria meets Lesley, who hasn't given her three bedroom flat a proper clean in nearly nineteen years.

Glen spends around thirteen hours each week cleaning his one bedroom flat. He attempts to help David whose collections include around 300,000 books, ten African masks, a strait jacket, three parachutes, 25 military uniforms and a range of magician's props. Zahra vacuums eight times a day and makes her way to Bridgend to help Jo who admits she needs assistance to de-clutter her home.

Sarah from Ely, has so much clutter that she has filled sheds, a gazebo and much of her house with her hoard. OCD diagnosed Louise, from Cambridgeshire attempts to help her. Adam from Essex, spends three hours a day cleaning his flat and attempts to help Lara, from Rochester, Kent, whose home hasn't had a proper clean in 12 years.

Alison, from Stamworth, Lincolnshire was diagnosed with OCD six years ago and spends more than 30 hours a week keeping her five bedroom home spotless. She makes her way to Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, to help Dusty Rhodes. Helen, from East Sussex attempts to help Janet, from Luton, whose passion for haberdashery has taken over the house.
