This is a simple yet profound look at the Irish landscape, weaving archaeology, history, psychology and sociology into a modern story, which asks the question - how have the Irish been shaped by their landscape?

Irish born John Minihan is a successful photographer with a very creative eye. His portfolio includes swinging London in the sixties, its rock bands including The Who, The Rolling Stones and Jimmy Hendrix and iconic portraits of Samuel Beckett.

For three pioneering Irish women, the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898 brought freedom: the kind they could only dream of back home in Ireland.

In the series we set out to see who commissioned and designed these ancient monuments.
