40 | The problem with One Piece's writing is power limitation. The protagonists have so much power, that ignored psychics and logic in the One Piece universe itself. They destroyed houses, buildings, and hard and solid objects just like styrofoam. And the characters are magically saved by all of that heavy materials. That kind of writing decision only makes the stakes very low, and there would be no sense of danger to the protagonists. It would be a boring show because that leads to how easy the protagonists solve the obstacles.
