I love this pilot. From Luke's underdog narrative to the slimy ambitions of Dan to Peyton's angsty lost girl vibes, and Coach Whitey's folksy wisdom, this is prime-time teen drama at its best.
In 42 minutes, this pilot captures exactly why One Tree hill is worth watching. It elevates a conflict that could feel contrived and melodramatic to high-stakes, soap-operatic perfection.
Wow, did not expect to root for Luke that hard. Really enjoyed this one to be honest.
