Ozark: Season 1

1x08 Kaleidoscope

I usually love flashback episodes (and I did with this one too). I just think it's wronlg placed in the episode order. It should have come one or two episodes earlier. Kinda killed the momentum of the show a bit. Otherwise I#m really loving this show.

I'm pretty surprised at the negative reviews. Absolutely love the show and as far as flashback episodes go, this one was great. I actually really enjoyed the non-linear style. A+

Nice flashback to understand the begining of the end! All is based in bad choices, is the final conclusion.

I am generally a plan of flashback episodes but this one was weak. The last 5 minutes are strong but it very much felt like they had to created two or three other meaningless story lines to fill the episodes. It stuck out like a sore them in the season.

I did not find it boring, it was just confusing.

I really enjoyed the non-linear style with this episode. It's placement in the series seemed odd at first until the very ending that explained the gift they received and all of the implications within. I am thoroughly impressed with this series and regret not seeing it sooner.

57 | Episode 8 felt like a filler to full the 10-episode quota. Marty's past was not quite worked well presented. It was even worse with the editing structure decision that did not blend smoothly. But there was a bit good thing, from this episode we know that Wendy already knows Marty's real job from the start. It proved how truly Marty loved Wendy in the first episode of season 1 in Ozark. Aside from that this episode felt boring to watch.

Wow, another pointless flashback episode. What a complete waste of time.

Great show but who needs the flashback now? XD
