HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHAT JUST HAPPENED
When Jason Bateman directs, this show rules.
Although the character motivations are still extremely weird and sometimes hilarious (intentionally, I'm hoping), the way Bateman handles suspense is really impressive and refreshing. I had been pulled so far out of this show after the last few episodes that I was very much questioning if I should even keep watching. But basically everything in this episode after the fifteen minute mark started pumping the intensity.
64 | Jason Bateman never failed to level up this show, either as an actor or a director. This episode gave a few plot twists, it was good but could be great. Del's guy added a suspense element for this episode. Ozark sometimes felt like mundane activities from a money launder's daily life. But the directing saved the boringness of the plotline.
