I put off watching this last season because I knew it would devastate me. I've binge watched them all now and I can without a doubt say that it did. I'm glad to have watched it though. This show is amazing.
POI is still quality television but I mostly feel nothing re-watching it. I guess Root dying for shock value in 5x10 killed my love for this show.
It took me over a year to watch the last season because i still cannot get over how sad I am that this exceptional show ends :( So much potential left I wish it wasnt over. If you ever need a Series to binge this is where you should head to.
I wouldn't say that Season 5 is better than the previous seasons, but since its the last one, I still give it 9 instead of 8 points to honor this exceptional show!
The only bad episode of this season IMHO was Synecdoche, and that is only because of its stupidly patriotic ending! Otherwise there are only good episodes, some of them even brilliant. I also like the ending that J.J. Abrams chose for the show, so much better than the ones from Lost and Fringe! Look very much forward to his next show, Westworld.
