The most awaited show on Indian Television, Peshwa Bajirao begins with the story of Peshwa Balaji Vishwanath Bhatt and his wife Radhabai. Balaji Vishwanath informs Radhabai that soon they would be blessed with a child who would become a great King in the future. The couple move out of their house in Chiplun when Mughal soldiers attack their village. Tararani Saheb is the queen of Chhatrapati Rajaram Bhonsle. On Rajarams death, his widow Tararani proclaims her infant son, Shivaji as Rajarams successor and herself as the regent.

Dhanaji requests Balaji Vishwanath to secretly meet Shahu who is held captive by the Mughals. Radhabai allows Balaji Vishwanath to go to the mission to rescue Shahu. Balaji Vishwanath secretly intrudes into Shahus tent. He learns that Shahu is not keeping well. On the other hand, Radhabai delivers a baby boy. Aurangzebs army captures Balaji Vishwanath and throws him off a cliff.

Balaji Vishwanath's relatives pronounce him dead. However, Radhabai refuses to declare herself as a widow. Balaji Vishwanath shows up and clears the confusion. Later, he informs Radhabai that he was rescued after being thrown off the cliff. Balaji and Radhabai name their child as Bajirao. A spiritual guru predicts Bajirao's early death.

Bajirao flips a coin which lands in the water. Radhabai rushes towards a waterfall to stop Bajirao. She gets shocked to see Bajirao jumping off the waterfall. When Bajirao steps out of the water, Radhabai grabs Bajirao by the ear and drags him to the house. She instructs Bajirao to not take unnecessary risks.

Bajirao plans to steal mangoes from Govindsheth's garden. Bajirao's teacher comes to his house and meets Radhabai. He tells Radhabai that Bajirao is not serious about his studies. Bajirao and his friends cleverly steal the mangoes from the garden and return home. Radhabai teaches a shloka to them. Later, she promises them to offer mango-juice if they recite the same shloka before her.

Bajiraos teacher punishes him for remaining absent from the school on the earlier day. Bajirao and his friends rush towards a river. Balaji Vishwanath plans to meet Kamruddin. Mughal soldiers stop Bajirao from going towards the river. Kamruddins son Nasir challenges Bajirao and his friends to play tug-of-war with an elephant.

Bajirao and his friends play tug-of-war with Nasirs elephant. Nasir uses a prod to provoke the elephant. Finally, Nasir asks Bajirao to accept the defeat. Bajirao replies Nasir that he would soon teach him a lesson. On the other hand, Balaji Vishwanath taunts Kamruddin, that he would be honoured to lift his shoes with his bare hands.

Radhabai suggests Balaji Vishwanath to lure Kamruddin into a trap. Bajirao tells his mother that he wishes to own a horse. Balaji Vishwanath tells Kamruddin that Shivaraje has gone to a jungle for hunting. Kamruddin replies Balaji Vishwanath that he wishes to meet Shivaraje. Bajirao and his friends plan to buy a horse.

Bajirao jumps on the horse, who has gone berserk, in the heavy rain. However, he fails to control the horse. On the other hand, Kamruddin enters the jungle along with Balaji Vishwanath in search of Shivaraje. Balaji Vishwanath saves Kamruddin from falling off a cliff. Bajirao manages to control the horse and brings it to his house.

Radhabai instructs Bajirao to not fight against Nasir at any cost. Balu meets Nasir and requests him to take revenge against Bajirao. Nasir comes to a market and stands before Bajirao. He orders Bajirao to lick his shoes. Tararani gets shocked to see Shivaraje walking along with Kamruddin.

Bajirao kneels down before Nasir and pulls his pyjamas down. Nasir angrily swings his whip towards Bajirao. Tararani asks Balaji Vishwanath to take revenge against Kamruddin. She warns him of his possible dismissal from her council if he fails to perform his duty. Kamruddin advises Balaji Vishwanath to not follow Tararanis orders.

Balaji Vishwanath tells Kamruddin Tararani would give him Dakhan territory if he returns Shahu to her. He advises Kamruddin to convince Aurangzeb to release Shahu from his captivity. On the other hand, Balu meets Bajirao and his friend and apologizes to them for his past mistakes.

Bajirao and Nasir stand before each other for a challenge. Bajirao sits on his horse Malhari while Nasir rides on his elephant. On the other hand, a fakir meets Aurangzeb's son Kam Bakhsh. He informs Kam Bakhsh that Kamruddin is planning to capture Dakhan territory by releasing Shahu from Aurangzeb's captivity. Nasir plans to obstruct Bajirao's path as Bajirao brings back the flag on his horse.

Nasir blames his elephant for his defeat against Bajirao. Bajirao warns Nasir of possible repercussions, if he harms his own elephant. Kam Baksh meets Aurangzeb and tells him that Kamruddin wants to seize 'Dakhan' territory by returning Shahu to Tararani. Balaji Vishwanath informs Dhanaji that he has ignited rivalry between Kamruddin and Kam Baksh.

Kamruddin instructs his son Nasir to kill Bajirao. Tararani orders Balaji Vishwanath to conquer the fort of Bhairavgadh. Pihu and her friends arrange wedding of her doll. Nasir meets Bajirao in the market. He tells Bajirao that he has kidnapped his sister Pihu. Nasir calls Bajirao on a mountain to rescue his sister.

Nasir starts fighting against Bajirao at the top of a hill. Bajirao retaliates with vigour against Nasir. Radhabai receives Balaji Vishwanath's letter. She learns that Tararani has sent Balaji Vishwanath's to a new mission. On the other hand, Nasir throws Bajirao off the cliff. A few villagers bring injured Bajirao to his house. They inform Radhabai that Bajirao has been bitten by few monitor lizards.

A spiritual guru comes to Radhabai's house as she looks after her ailing son. Bajirao's friend prays to god for his speedy recovery. The spiritual guru performs 'yajna' in Radhabai's house. In the end, Bajirao regains his consciousness. Balaji Vishwanath and his aide seize a Mughal soldier in the jungle. Bajirao's friends beat Balu for secretly helping Nasir. Radhabai learns that Nasir has thrown Bajirao off the cliff.

Radhabai hits Nasir with rod for throwing her son off the cliff. Nasir apologizes to Radhabai for his mistake. A mughal soldier tells Ghazi that he had met a mystic in jungle. Ghazi orders his soldiers to invite the mystic to his castle. Bajirao learns that he has short lifespan. Balaji Vishwanath comes to Ghazi's fort in the guise of a mystic.

Bajirao informs Radhabai that he is aware about a bitter truth about himself. He promises Radhabai that he would devote his life to serve his parents. Tararani advises Shiva to know more about the forts built by their ancestors. Ghazi challenges Balaji Vishwanath to show him his magical powers. Bajirao tells his friends that he has decided to forgive Balu for his past mistakes.

Bajirao tells his mother that he wishes to sleep in the courtyard of his house. In the night, Balu and his friends tie Bajirao's bedstead on a well. A horse-trader saves Bajirao and brings him to his house. On the other hand, Balaji Vishwanath motivates a few mughal soldiers to fight against Gazi.

Radhabai jumps off a waterfall to inspire Bajirao to become fearless. Balaji Vishwanath performs 'yajna' in front of Gazi to show him a miracle. Bajirao rushes towards a cliff as he watches a few 'monitor lizards' crawling towards his mother. Radhabai's urges Bajirao to overcome his fear. Bajirao decides to save his mother from the monitor lizards.

Bajirao saves Radhabai from wild monitor lizards. Balaji Vishwanath triumphs over Gazi and conquers the fort of Bhairavgadh. Bajirao and his friends lash out at Balu for assisting Nasir. Balaji Vishwanath returns home and meets his family. Nasir promises Kamruddin that he would soon take revenge for his defeat against Bajirao.

Balaji Vishwanath's aide informs him that Tararani has invited him to Satara. Balaji Vishwanath allows Bajirao and his friends to visit Satara. Mughal soldiers intrude on Bajirao's village. Bajirao's sister gets upset to see the soldiers torturing innocent women. Balaji Vishwanath and his son come to Khas's house. Balaji Vishwanath instructs Bajirao to look after Khas's son, Vishesh.

Radhabai stops a Mughal soldier from attacking her daughter. Kam Baksh tells Aurangzeb that Tararani may not anoint Shahu as the King of Marathi empire. He advises Aurangzeb to release Shahu from his captivity. Vishesh starts troubling Bajirao and his friends. Bajirao gets distrubed due to Vishesh's mischievous behaviour.

Tararani tries to teach swordfighting to Shivaraje. However, Shivaraje fails to gain the confidence to learn the art of swordfighting. Bajirao and his friends punish Vishesh for his misbehaviour. Balaji Vishwanath starts teaching sword fighting to Shivaraje. Bajirao and his friends assume that a few thieves have intruded into Vishesh's house. They drive the thieves away from the house.

Balaji Vishwanath tells Bajirao that he must learn to unite his friends to fight against Mughals. Pant Pratinidhi advises Shivaraje to study 'Vidur Neeti' in order to influence his soldiers. Shahu clears it to Aurangzeb that he would not marry the girl suggested by him. Bajirao advises his friends to unit against the Mughals.

Bajirao's teacher punishes him for not following his orders. On the other hand, Balaji Vishwanath advises Shiva to be serious about learning sword fighting. Bajirao's mother decides to remove Bajirao from his gurukul. She promises Bajirao that she will teach him everything that his guru was offering him in the gurukul. Tararani tells Balaji Vishwanath that she wishes to meet his children.

Bajirao tells his sister that he is going to cultivate chillies in his farm. He further informs his sister that he wishes to receive teachings from Radhabai. One of Aurangzeb's daughters comes to Shahu's mansion. Shahu clears it to her that he doesn't wish to marry the girl of Aurangzeb's choice. Shiva informs his mother that he has learnt 'Vidur Neeti'.

Shahu decides to marry the girl of Aurangzeb's choice. Bajirao plants chilli seeds in his farm. After a few days, he gets shocked to see his chilli crop crushed by an anonymous person. Zeenat-un-Nissa informs Aurangzeb that Shahu has agreed to get married. Radhabai teaches the importance of concentration to Bajirao.

Gotya and his friends tell Radhabai that they wish to learn life-lessons along with Bajirao. Radhabai brings a donkey to her house. She tells Bajirao and his friends that three men are fighting to claim the ownership of the donkey. Later, She challenges Bajirao to make hundred earthen pots by the evening.

Zeenat-un-Nissa informs Shahu that Kamruddin might cause any harm to Tararani in the near future. Bajirao instructs three potters to make clay pots in order to claim their donkey back from him. Kamruddin tells Aurangzeb that they should attack Tararani on the day of Gudipadwa. Bajirao learns that a person is secretly breaking the earthen pots made by the three potters.

Bajirao tells Gotya that Ballu is breaking the earthen pots made by three potters. Bajirao and Gotya punish Ballu for his mistake. Radhabai brings Bajirao and his friends under a big tree to teach them a life-lesson. She instructs Bajirao to collect the falling leaves of the tree in a basket.

Gotya and his friends yell at Ballu for annoying Bajirao. Bajirao falls unconscious under a big tree while collecting its leaves. King Shivaji appears in Bajirao's dream. King Shivaji tells Bajirao the story of his escape from the clutches of Mughals. Kamruddin tells Aurangzeb that they should attack their opponents when they expect it the least.

Bajirao tells Radhabai that he has decided to remain enthusiastic while working towards his goal. Kamruddin tells Aurangzeb that they should attack the villagers of Saswad. Aurangzeb gives Kam Baksh the responsibility to fight against Tararani. Radhabai advises Bajirao and his friends to stage a play on the birth anniversary of King Shivaji.

Bajirao tells Gotya that he doesn't wish to reveal Ballu's secret to his Guru. Kam Baksh's soldiers make a secret plan to attack the villagers of Saswad. Bajirao and his friends rehearse for a stage play based on King Shivaji's inspiring life events. On the other hand, Tararani gifts a sword to Shiva.

Bajirao and his friends gear up for a stage play based on King Shivaji's life events. Shahu meets Aurangzeb and offers him sweets on the birth anniversary of King Shivaji. One of Mughal soldiers tries to suffocate Bajirao to death. Bajirao plays dead for a while and later rescues himself from the solider.

Bajirao and his friends start performing a stage play in front of the villagers of Saswad. Few Mughal soldiers plan to destroy Bajirao's town by using a deadly bomb. Radhabai observes suspicious activity near a tent. Bajirao learns that the Mughal soldiers have lit the fuse of the bomb.

Bajirao tells his Guru that his mother can teach him all the lessons required for his life. Balaji Vishwanath and his aide praise Bajirao for foiling Mughal's plan to destroy his village. Radhabai hands over a letter to Bajirao. She instructs him to go to his uncle's village and give him the letter.

Bajirao's Guru disallows Gotya and his friends from attending his Gurukul. Gotya tells his friends that they should go to jungle to meet Bajirao. Shahu tells Aurangzeb's soldiers that he wishes to make offerings to a Goddess. On the other hand, Gotya and his friends meet Bajirao in the jungle. They get frightened to see a few tigers in the trees.

Bajirao and his friends see a few tigers in the trees. Radhabai enters the jungle in search of Bajirao. A few thugs approach Bajirao and his friends. They kidnap them and bring them to a cave. A snake bites Radhabai in the jungle. On the other hand, Kam Baksh learns that Shahu is planning to alert Tararani about her possible assassination.

A dacoit called Dandak and his goons kidnap Bajirao and his friends in a jungle. A villager tells Radhabai that Dandak may cause harm to her son. Radhabai heads towards the jungle to search Bajirao. Dandak orders Bajirao and his friends to carry large wooden logs to a bullock cart.

Radhabai decides to rescue her son from Dandak and his goons. Tararani instructs her aides to attack Kamruddin. Balaji Vishwanath informs Tararani that Shiva is not ready to fight against Mughals. On the other hand, Bajirao and his friends plan to escape from the clutches of dacoits.

Kamruddin advises Marathi sardars to join hands with Mughals. Tararani and her associates attack Kamruddin in a jungle. On the other hand, Bajirao's friends inform him that Parshu is missing from the cave. Dandak brings Bajirao to Krishna river. He tells Bajirao that the river has diamonds at the bottom.

Dandak challenges Bajirao to bring diamonds from Krishna river. Tararani punishes a few Marathi sardars for joining hands with Mughals. Bajirao accepts Dandak's challenge and jumps into the river. Tararani tells Balaji Vishwanath that her son is not afraid to fight against Mughals. Bajirao finds a diamond in the river.

Radhabai meets Bajirao and plans to save him from Dandak and his goons. Dandak snatches a diamond from Bajirao's hand and runs away in the jungle. On the other hand, Balaji Vishwanath attacks a few Mughal soldiers. Bajirao catches Dandak in the jungle and takes the diamond back from him. Radhabai brings Bajirao and his friends back to their village.

Bajirao's guru tells his villagers that Radhabai should not have risked Bajirao and his friends' lives by sending them in a jungle. Villagers demand apology from Radhabai for insulting Bajirao's guru. Bajirao asks his mother to not bow down before his guru. Later, Bajirao forgives Parshu for his past mistakes.

Bajirao and his family come to Satara to visit Ajinkyatara fort. Ruqayya intrudes into the fort in the guise of Rukmini. On the other hand, Shiva yells at Bajirao for touching King Shivaji's sword. He asks Bajirao to get out of his mansion.

Radhabai meets Tararani as she gets ready for Gudi Padwa celebration in Ajinkyatara fort. Bajirao tells Balaji Vishwanath that Rukmini is not pregnant. Balaji Vishwanath instructs his soldiers to search Rukmini in the fort. On the other hand, Kashibai's mother meets Radhabai and her daughter.

Ruqayya attacks Bajirao with a knife. Bajirao stops Ruqayya from hurting him. Bajirao informs Tararani that Ruqayya is a Mughal spy. Tararani's soldiers take Ruqayya into their custody. Ruqayya cuts her tongue out in front of Tararani. A Marathi Sardar tells Tararani that her son Shiva is not good enough to be a King.

Tararani instructs Shiva to attack Bhaurao Malhar by a poisonous thorn. Bajirao learns that a few Mughal soldiers are planning to explode Ajinkyatara fort on the day of Gudi Padwa. He decides to reveal the secret to Balaji Vishwanath. Shiva forces Bajirao to fight against Bhaurao Malhar on his behalf.

Bajirao fights against Bhaurao in the guise of Shiva. Mughal soldiers fire a cannonball towards Ajinkyatara fort. Bajirao asks Kashi to escape from the fort at the earliest. Bajirao tells Balaji Vishwanath that the Mughals may try to kill Shiva and Tararani. Bajirao meets Tararani and cautions her about a possible attack from her enemy.

Bajirao stops Mughal intruders from attacking Tararani and Shiva. Nasir tells Kamruddin that soon they will conquer Ajinkyatara fort. Kamruddin informs Nasir that Tararani has defeated their soldiers. Balaji Vishwanath's aides praise Bajirao for his bravery. Bajirao tells Radhabai that her teachings helped him fight against Mughal intruders.

Tararani invites Balaji Vishwanath and his family to her court. She praises Bajirao and Balaji Vishwanath for their bravery. Bajirao tells Tararani that he is committed to fighting against his enemy. Shiva offers a sword to Bajirao. Tararani orders Balaji Vishwanath to take charge of the Daulatabad region.

Bajirao tells his father that he wishes to come to Daulatabad. Tararani tells her aides that she is determined to take revenge against Mughals for their attack on the Ajinkyatara fort. Balaji Vishwanath and Bajirao come to Daulatabad. Balaji Vishwanath asks Bale Khan to stop his atrocities on the villagers of Daulatabad.

Balaji Vishwanath and his aides meet the Subedar of Daulatabad. They learn that the Subedar is fearful of the wrath of Mughals. Balaji Vishwanath and his associates fight against few Mughal soldiers in a jungle. Later, Balaji Vishwanath plans to teach the art of war to Bajirao.

Balaji Vishwanath asks Bajirao to learn the art of war from Khas. Aurangzeb instructs his soldiers to send Shahu to Aurangabad. Nasir comes to Daulatabad along with his soldiers. Kamruddin asks Nasir to attack Balaji Vishwanath with his matchlock. Nasir asks Balaji Vishwanath to get out from Daulatabad.

Balaji Vishwanath learns that Chandrasen has been appointed as Sardeshmukh of Daulatabad. Balaji Vishwanath meets Chandrasen and asks him to not interfere in his work. Balaji Vishwanath urges the villagers of Daulatabad to pay their taxes. Later, Bajirao hangs Bale Khan to a wall and asks the villagers to not be afraid of Mughals.

Mughals burn down a part of Daulatabad. The villagers angrily ask Balaji Vishwanath to leave their village. Balaji Vishwanath tells Chandrasen that they should bring their army to Daulatabad to fight against Mughals. Chandrasen turns down Balaji Vishwanath's suggestion. Later, Balaji Vishwanath goes to Aurangabad to meet Raghoji Bhonsle. Bajirao courageously fights against Mughal soldiers in Balaji's absence.

Raghoji instructs Kamruddin to not cause any harm to Balaji Vishwanath. Kamruddin puts Balaji Vishwanath and his aide in jail. Kamruddin advises Nasir to kill Bajirao. Nasir attacks Dhondiba with his sword. Dhondiba dies due to the fatal injury. Nasir challenges Bajirao to fight against him.

Bajirao fights against Nasir and puts him in jail. Balaji Vishwanath and his aide escape from Aurangabad. Balaji Vishwanath comes to Daulatabad and meets his son. He orders his soldiers to release Nasir from jail. Later, the villagers of Daulatabad request Balaji Vishwanath to leave their village.

Mughal soldiers attack the village of Daulatabad. Balaji Vishwanath instructs his aides to get ready to fight against the Mughal soldiers. One of the Mughal soldiers stabs Balaji Vishwanath with a dagger. Bajirao frees himself from Nasir's captivity. The villagers of Daulatabad start attacking Mughal soldiers.

The villagers of Daulatabad start beating a Mughal soldier. Balaji Vishwanath falls unconscious on the ground. Bajirao blames himself for Balaji Vishwanath's condition. Malhar Rao Holkar comforts Bajirao advises him to put the welfare of the state first. Chandrasen tells the villagers that Kamruddin may soon attack Daulatabad.

Malhar Rao Holkar stops Bajirao from killing himself. Balaji Vishwanath tells Bajirao that he should not have decided to fight against Mughal army. Radhabai tells her children that Balaji Vishwanath's life is in danger. She informs them that she is going to Daulatabad. Balaji Vishwanath draws a plan to counter Mughal army's possible attack.

Bajirao and Malhar Rao Holkar find Shridhar in a jungle. Shridhar tells Bajirao that he is a Mughal spy. Few Mughal soldiers surround Bajirao and Malhar. On the other hand, Radhabai comes to Daulatabad and meets Balaji Vishwanath. Bajirao and Malhar hurl stones towards a beehive. The bees attack Mughal soldiers. Bajirao, Shridhar and Malhar enter Mughal camp.

Bajirao, Malhar Rao Holkar, and Shridhar enter the Mughal camp. Bajirao informs a Mughal soldier that their enemies may destroy their ammunition. Radhabai informs Chimna that she is going to find Bajirao. On the other hand, Bajirao and Malhar Rao Holkar destroy the ammunition of the Mughal army. Bajirao returns to Daulatabad and meets Radhabai.

Balaji Vishwanath tells Radhabai that Bajirao should follow his instructions. Bajirao tells his siblings that he is upset with his father as he discouraged him from participating in the war. Aurangzeb meets Tararani and asks her to return Burhanpur district to Mughals. He also threatens to release Shahuji if she decides to fight against the Mughal army.

Aurangzeb tells Tararani that he would go back to Delhi if she agrees to give Burhanpur to Mughals. Radhabai allows Bajirao to participate in the war against Kamruddin's army. Tararani asks Tanaji to attack Aurangzeb when he travels towards Delhi. Balaji Vishwanath and his aides come to the battleground.

Aurangzeb's hakim advises him to take bed rest for a few day. Mughal army rush towards Balaji Vishwanath and his aides. Kam Baksh and Zeenat Un Nissa come to Aurangzeb's mansion and asks him to look after his health. Balaji Vishwanath and his aides fight against Mughal army.

Mughal and Marathi soldiers start fighting on the battleground. A Mughal soldier heads towards Balaji Vishwanath and his aides. Balaji Vishwanath instructs his team to be alert. Bajirao gets a sword despite Balaji Vishwanath's disapproval. He chops off hands of the Mughal soldier. Later, Bajirao tells his aides that they must find out a way to beat all the remaining Mughal soldiers.

Bajirao tells Balaji Vishwanath that he did not follow his orders as he wanted to serve his motherland. Balaji Vishwanath allows Bajirao to take part in the war. Kamruddin's army head towards Balaji Vishwanath and his aides. Balaji's army start fighting against their enemy. Bajirao falls unconscious on the ground while fighting against a Mughal soldier.

Malhar Rao Holkar encourages Bajirao to pick up his sword and start attacking his enemy. Bajirao starts killing Mughal soldiers with his sword. Nasir cuts the head off of Khas. Bajirao attacks Nasir with a knife. Kamruddin's soldiers save Nasir from Bajirao's deadly attacks. Kamruddin plans to end the war by killing Balaji Vishwanath and his aides.

Balaji Vishwanath and his army head towards their enemy. Nasir fires a bullet towards Bajirao through his matchlock. A Marathi soldier gets killed as Bajirao quickly escapes the bullet. Kamruddin orders his army to stop attacking their enemy. Kamruddin and his army leave the battlefield. Bajirao and his colleagues give last rites to the dead soldiers.

Azam announces himself as the successor to the Mughal empire. Tararani's soldiers arrest Balaji Vishwanath. Tararani angrily tells Balaji Vishwanath that he should not have fought against Mughal soldiers. Balaji Vishwanath tells Tararani that his son had instigated the war against Mughal army. Tararani orders Balaji Vishwanath to stop Shahu from entering Satara.

Bajirao informs his mother that Tararani has asked Balaji Vishwanath to not allow Shahu to enter Satara. Azam releases Shahu from captivity. Azam tells Shahu that, sooner or later, his own people will betray him. Balaji Vishwanath tells Radhabai that Tararani has instructed Bajirao to follow her orders. Shiva orders his soldiers to arrest Balaji's family.

Shiva orders his soldiers to arrest Bajirao. Dhanaji advises Balaji Vishwanath to follow Tararanis orders. Tararani tells her aide that Shiva should not have arrested Bajirao. She asks him to release Bajirao from jail. Bajirao tells his siblings that they must take care or their pregnant mother.

Bajirao asks Chimna to look after his pregnant mother in his absence. Chandrasen instructs Bajirao to accompany his soldiers as they head towards a camp. Radhabai meets Tararani and tells her that she is concerned for Bajirao's safety. On the other hand, Balaji Vishwanath and his aide head towards Narmada river to stop Shahu from entering into their territory.

Chandrasen's soldiers grab Bajirao and start dunking him in water. Balaji Vishwanath plans to secretly meet Shahu. Chandrasen yells at Bajirao for mocking Prabhakar. Chandrasen instructs Malhar Rao Holkar to hit Bajirao with a stick. On the other hand, a mughal soldier tells Shahu that Balaji Vishwanath wants to kill him.

Dhanaji assumes that Mughals have released a lookalike of Shahu from their captivity. Rajasbai advises Radhabai to escape from the jail. Balaji Vishwanath stops Dhanaji from attacking Shahu. He tells Dhanaji that Tararani's son doesn't have the aptitude to lead his kingdom. Chimna tells Radhabai that they may get killed by Tararani's soldiers.

Radhabai plans to escape from Tararani's captivity. A dying soldier tells Bajirao that few Marathi soldiers were attacked by Kam Baksh and his army. Dhanaji tells Shahu that he would not stop him from entering Satara. On the other hand, Bajirao decides to release Marathi soldiers from Kam Baksh's imprisonment.

Bajirao meets Kam Baksh in the guise of a humorist. Kamruddin tells Tararani that Dhanaji has allowed Shahu to come to Satara. Radhabai and Rajasbai plan to escape from Tararani's captivity by digging through a wall. Bajirao entertains Kam Baksh by his wit. Tararani stops Radhabai and Rajasbai from escaping her mansion.

Kam Baksh allows Bajirao to stay in his camp. Shiva orders his soldiers to keep Radhabai away from her children. Tararani learns that Balaji Vishwanath and Dhanaji have joined hands with Shahu. One of Kam Baksh's aides tells him that Marathi soldiers are planning to escape from his captivity.

Shiva tells Tararani that Kamruddin wishes to meet her. Balaji Vishwanath tells Dhanaji that he is worried for the safety of his family. Shahu instructs Balaji Vishwanath to not go to Satara. Kamruddin asks Tararani to persuade Marathi sardars to unite against Shahu. Bajirao tells Malhar Rao Holkar that they would escape from Kam Baksh's captivity on the next day.

Tararani tells Kamruddin that she would not hand over Balaji Vishwanath's family to Mughals. Kam Baksh tells Bajirao that he is going to punish him for his misdeeds. Bajirao clears it to Kam Baksh that Marathi soldiers are not going to rebel against him. Dhanaji tells Shahu that Shiva is persuading Marathi sardars to support him in the future.

Bajirao asks Kam Baksh to hold a competition between Mughal and Marathi soldiers. Kam Baksh instructs the soldiers to break a thick wall. As soon as Mughal soldiers break the wall, marathi soldiers launch an attack on them. Kam Baksh falls unconscious while fighting with Bajirao. Bajirao stops Malhar Rao Holkar from killing Kam Baksh. Bajirao and marathi soldiers escape from Kam Baksh's captivity.

Bajirao learns that Shiva has released Radhabai and her children from his fort. Bajirao rushes towards jungle to rescue Radhabai and his siblings. Shahu tells Dhanaji that he would demand money from Mahadji Krishna Joshi to fight against Tararani. Nasir and his soldiers enter the jungle to kill Radhabai and her children.

Nasir kicks in Radhabai's stomach. Bajirao fights against Nasir as he injures his mother. Balaji Vishwanath assumes that Mughals have killed Radhabai. Bajirao brings his mother and siblings to their house. On the other hand, Shiva learns that Radhabai has escaped from the jungle. Bajirao meets Gotya and his friends.

Gotya tells Bajirao that he wishes to marry Namrata. Shiva tells one of his aides that he wants to punish Balaji Vishwanath's family. Namrata requests her father to let her marry Gotya. Radhabai tells Balaji Vishwanath that Tararani is planning to kill him. Later, Balaji Vishwanath informs his family that Namrata's father has allowed her to marry Gotya.

Balaji Vishwanath comes to Mahadji Krishna Joshi's mansion. He requests Mahadji to give him donations to support Shahu in the fight against Tararani. Mahadji clears it to Balaji that he would not aid Shahu in his evil plot. The villagers of Saswad blacken Chimna's face. Balaji Vishwanath tells Mahadji that Shiva cannot protect his kingdom.

Chimna's friends bring him to his house. Radhabai finds out that her family is ostracized by the villagers of Saswad. Mahadji Krishna Joshi tells Balaji Vishwanath that he is ready to support Shahu in his fight against Tararani. Shahu tells Bajirao that he is impressed by his bravery.

Chandrasen meets Shahu and tells him that he wishes to support him in his fight against Tararani. When Balaji Vishwanath fails to find ammunition, he tells Bajirao that there must be a conspiracy against them by their enemy. Chimna requests a vaidya to come to his house to cure his mother.

Kamruddin advises Chandrasen to kill Shahu. Shiubai and her daughter Kashi meet Tararani in her mansion. At night, Bajirao spots a suspicious person walking near his room. Bajirao assumes him as Chandrasen. Bajirao tells Shahu that Chandrasen wants to kill him. Shahu refuses to believe Bajirao. He orders his soldiers to put Bajirao in prison.

Balaji Vishwanath meets Bappaji and requests him to support Shahu in his fight against Tararani. Bappaji replies Balaji that he would help Shahu only if he makes him 'Peshwa' after winning the war against his enemy. Shiubai tells Mahadji that she wishes Shiva to marry her daughter Kashi. Bajirao escapes from jail and meets Shahu. He tells Shahu that Chandrasen is planning to attack him.

Chandrasen kills a soldier for attacking Shahu. Later, Shahu and his aides head towards Satara. Tanaji tells Bajirao that his son Chandrasen does not want to kill Shahu. Shiva asks his soldiers to get ready for a war against Shahu. When Shahu and his supporters reach Satara, they learn that Shiva has escaped from his fort. Shahu's aides advise him to fight against Shiva.

Bajirao advises Shahu to govern his state along with Shiva. One of Shahu's aides clears it to Bajirao that Shahu will not share throne with Shiva. Shahu tells Balaji that he wants to meet the people of Satara. Gotya's teacher tells him that he is going to leave his village. Shahu informs his subjects that his brother and Tararani are going to run their kingdom from Kolhapur. The villagers of Saswad learn that Chimna's Guru had made false allegations on Chimna's family.

Balaji Vishwanath introduces Mahadji Krishna Joshi and his family to Shahu. Kamruddin comes out of Shahu's fort and secretly meets Kamruddin. Kamruddin tells Chandrasen that he should have murdered Shahu. He advises Chandrasen to kill Tanaji. Bajirao gets shocked to see Chandrasen in the woods. Kashi asks Bajirao to not interfere in her life.

Bajirao tells Balaji Vishwanath that Chandrasen is not competent to lead an army. The villagers of Saswad apologizes to Radhabai for accusing her family of treason. Chandrasen informs Tanaji that he had tried to kill Shahu. Tanaji angrily tells Chandrasen that he should not have supported Shiva.

Dhanaji tells Chandrasen that he should support Shiva. Dhanaji falls on the ground when Chandrasen covers Dhanaji's face with his hand and suffocates him to death. Bajirao gets shocked to learn that Dhanaji has passed away. Later, Chandrasen lights Dhanaji's funeral pyre in front of all the soldiers. Shahu appoints Chandrasen as Commander of his army. Later, he appoints Balaji Vishwanath as 'Peshwa' of his kingdom.

Shahu appoints Balaji Vishwanath as the Peshwa of his kingdom. Bappaji tells Balaji Vishwanath that he would not remain Peshwa for long. Bajirao finds a ring mark on one of Chandrasen's fingers. Bajirao tells Malhar Rao Holkar that Chandrasen has killed Dhanaji. Bajirao's family come to Shahu's court to attend Balaji Vishwanath's swearing in ceremony.

Balaji Vishwanath's swears-in as Peshwa in front of Shahu. Bajirao tells Shahu that Chandrasen has killed his father. Shahu orders his soldiers to put Chandrasen in jail. Chandrasen's soldiers rush towards Balaji and hold their swords around his neck. Chandrasen angrily tells Shahu that he would come back to Satara along with Shiva.

Bappaji tells Shahu that he should have attacked Shiva in the past. Balaji Vishwanath tells Shahu that he is ready to step down from his post as Peshwa. Shahu clears it to Balaji Vishwanath that he would continue to hold his position. Radhabai plans to perform 'puja' in his mansion.

Shiubai tells Mahadji Krishna Joshi that he should not donate his wealth to Shahu. Mahadji tells Shahu that he wishes to find a suitable groom for his daughter Kashi. Shiva proposes the marriage of Kashi to Bajirao. On the other hand, Bajirao insults Shiubai and Kashi for mistreating his family. Later, Radhabai instructs Bajirao to apologize to Shiubai for his improper behaviour.

Shiubai tells Mahadji Krishna Joshi that she will not allow Bajirao to marry Kashi. Bajirao tells Kashi that he wants to apologize to her mother for his misbehaviour. Radhabai informs Shiubai that her son Bajirao has a very short life span. Radhabai tells Bajirao that Balaji Vishwanath has fixed his marriage with Kashi.

Kumud tells Shiubai that she should not allow Bajirao to marry her daughter. Kashi anxiously tells her mother that she doesnt want to marry Bajirao. Bajirao clears it to Radhabai that he does not desire to get married. On the other hand, Mahadji Krishna Joshi convinces Kashi to marry Bajirao.

Radhabai asks Bajirao to marry Kashi. Kumud tells Kashi that she would be treated like a queen in Bajirao's house. Bajirao agrees to marry Kashi. Radhabai assures Bajirao that Kashi will not distract him from achieving his goals in life. Later, Bajirao and Kashi's families gather for their engagement ceremony.

Radhabai tells Chimna that she had promised Bajirao and Kashi that she would fulfill their wishes after their wedding.

Kumud advises Kashi to keep Bajirao under her control after their marriage. Bajirao and Kashi's families gather for their wedding ceremony. Kashi and Bajirao puts garlands to each other. Radhabai assures Kashi's mother that she would look after her daughter in the future. Bajirao's family bring Kashi to their house.

Radhabai asks Chimna to find out Kashi's lost comb. Chimna learns that his sister has stolen the comb. He snatches the comb from Bihu and gives it to his mother.. Radhabai advises Bihu to not tease Kashi. Later, Bihu tells Bajirao that she hates Kashi. Bihu and Kashi start fighting with each other.

Kashi stops Bajirao from going to Satara. Bajirao tells Kashi that he is going out of his house to perform his duties. He also clears it to Kashi that he had not given her promise to stay home after their marriage. Shahu informs Balaji Vishwanath that Dhanaji is alive. Bappaji tells Sadanand that he is determined to kill Shahu.

Radhabai advises Kashi and Bihu to not fight against each other. She instructs them to clean the kitchen. On the other hand, Bajirao tells Malhar Rao Holkar that Bappaji is upset as he could not become 'Peshwa'. Bajirao and Malhar Rao Holkar help a prisoner flee from Shahu's captivity.

Radhabai suggests that Kashi and Baji should be given enough time to decide on their future. However, Kashi clearly took a stand and said she cant live with the fear of losing her husband. nOn the other hand, Bajirao exposes Bappajis conspiracy to kill Shahu ji in front Maharaj.

Baji comes to meet Mahant ji at his palace. He expresses his agony seeing Kashi upset. He goes onto tell Mahant ji that Kashi should accept the reality that he is a warrior and will sacrifice his blood for his people. Meanwhile, Radha gets labor pains and delivers a baby girl however, Ved ji checks the baby and declares her dead.

Bajirao goes to rescue Kashi from the hands of Naser. Courageous Baji asks Naser to choose whichever weapon he wants for the fight. Naser doesn't chose any weapon and they both get into a physical fight with each other in the mud. Kashi worries for Baji and prays for his victory. Baji subdues Naser and continues to beat him without any mercy. Meanwhile, Kashi intervenes and pleads with Baji to stop the fight. Baji stops hitting Naser but ties Naser onto a cannon and lights the ignition thread and walks away. The villagers inform Baji about the fire that ruined their crops last night. Baji assures them that their loss will be compensated and decides to find the source of the fire. Later, Baji learns that Nasir had put the crop fields on fire. In a fit of rage, Baji takes out his sword and decides to take revenge.

Bajirao decides to take revenge on Nasir. But, first, he decides to find out some information about Nasir. Later, tragedy strikes Bajirao as Radhabai falls unconscious.

Bajirao tortures Nasir to make him realise the pain that the poor farmers went through when their farmlands were set on fire by him. He tell him that he has sent a message to his father to come alone with ransom to save his life. On receiving the letter, Kamruddin plans to kill Bajirao with poisonous arrows. Bajirao had promised the villagers that he wouldnt celebrate any festival until justice was served to the farmers affected by farmland fire. After fulfilling his promise Bajirao announces that his new born sisters naming ceremony will be done the next day. Baji says that his Aayi has given birth, but it was his wife who has given her life so, he name her Anu Bai.

The Maratha forces gather in front of the Mughal front. The Mughal forces put up a defence. Meanwhile, Kashi is getting worried about Bajiraos safety. At the battlefield, a grown up Bajirao, steps foot on the battlefield, and draws his sword from the sheathe to led his forces from the front.

Bajirao, who has grown up into fearless Maratha warrior, leads his forces towards the Mughal fort. Bajirao kills the guards securing the Mughal forts gates and enters the fort by himself. The Mughal commander orders his forces to surround Bajirao but to his shock, Bajirao single-handedly slays all the Mughal soldiers.

Bajirao and his army head towards Satara. He informs his close aide that his aim is unification. Since his father is injured, Bajirao wants to out pace the rival forces and reach before they do.

While strolling in the night, Bajirao hears a woman singing. Bajirao follows the soothing voice and comes across Mastani. But, before Bajirao can catch a glimpse of her, Mastani disappears into the darkness. Bajirao is clearly left mesmerised by Mastanis voice. What will be the future outcome of Bajirao and Mastanis meeting?

Bajirao returns home with his father but Radhabai is not pleased. Kashi is delighted to see Bajirao and greets him. Radhabai is upset that her husband made important decisions without her consent. Meanwhile, Jagatraj insults his father for being passive and not being dominant over his enemies.

Bajirao tries to maintain distance from Kashi. Kashi overhears Bajirao praising her beauty, which delights her greatly. Kashi, too, is advised to rekindle the romance with Bajirao and approach him. When she does, ties are renewed and new bonds are formed, resolving the past differences.

Kashibai and Bajirao head for the temple for puja. They are greeted by the first rain of the season along the way. Bajirao welcomes it with open arm, much to Kashibais amusement. In the temple, Bajirao sees a girl being forced to become a dev dasi by her parents, and he protects her. The head priest questions Bajiraos decision says that he is standing up against their rituals and traditions. Will Bajirao be able to save the girl?

Bajirao is determined more than ever to free his state from oppressive shackles. He now aims for total freedom. Meanwhile, Mastani assures her mother she will be safe. She informer her mother that she will not hesitate to put her life on the line for her state. Will Mastanis revolt be a threat to her life?

Bajirao vents out his anger on Mohan Rao for insulting his close aides. Mohan Rao tries to persuade Bajirao to join hands with him. Bajirao teaches him that he will stand by those who stood beside him in the battle field. The argument goes out of hand as Mohan Rao insults Bajiraos father. Kashi meets Bajirao and requests him to forgive Mohan Rao. Bajirao does not utter a word and walks out. Then, Bajirao patches up with Mohan Rao, which greatly impresses Kashi. Meanwhile, Jagrat Raj is happy that he is alive but unhappy that a woman, Mastani, saved his life. Mastanis brave act is disregarded and her character questioned. She is left humiliated and act goes unnoticed.
