In the first episode of the series, four of the contenders took to the stage to perform their acts: Ehud Segev, Jim Karol, Eran Raven and Gerry McCambridge.
Along with the studio audience were three celebrities that would be used in the acts where required: Carmen Electra, Rachel Hunter and Ross Matthews.
The search for the next great mentalist continues as two contestants are eliminated and six mentalists who have not yet performed take the stage. There is a scuffle when Criss Angel offers a million dollars of his own money if either Jim Callahan or Uri Gellar can tell him what he has written in a sealed envelope in his hand.
Out of the 6 performing in the previous week 3 are eliminated. The remaining 3 are joined by the 2 contestants who were advanced in the first round of competition to perform again.
The five remaining contestants soon learn who will advance with a chance to become the "Phenomenon" and who will be eliminated.
The winner and "Phenomenon" is announced!
