I imagine this scenario could happen in a totally automated system that is dependent on auto-shipping. But...it's a bit far fetched especially if people stop paying for the service. It was an entertaining episode nonetheless.
"Something funny happened along the way." I'm a sucker for stories that combine AI and self-awareness, which is why BLADE RUNNER has been a favorite of my since forever. And this episode is similar, but different enough to still seem fresh, especially with the consumerism spin on things.
Not bad at all. I saw the 'plottwist' coming already from the moment the girl grabbed the magazine. Still not bad.
It's funny how Amazon would air an episode that shows an "Amazon like" company simply fuckin with humanity.
One of the better episodes of this show and least predictable. One of the few episodes I'd re-watch one day.
Hardly anything new but the visuals and the cinematography make it a watchable mini-movie about how our urge to consume will be our downfall but the shower sequence was completely unnecessary - or was it??? :laughing:
Easily the best of the series.
