The first of many "what if" episodes that put the cast in another timeline, this time is a Victorian era horror movie. It's wonderfully creative in how they come up with different ways to make it work - Mom becomes "Mob", Phineas and Ferb are mad scientists, Doof is Dr. Jekyll - it's all really great stuff. The visual style this episode is also really amazing as well, feeling like an old movie even if it isn't entirely in black and white.
But the most impressive thing the episode does is make a relatively disconnected episode feel so good and needed. This was the proof the show needed that they could go out there and odd, and it makes it loud and clear that they weren't gonna play nice.
