Well, I have to admit I really liked the pilot. I only watched one game of baseball ever (toronto - yankees) and got bored the hell out of me - just not my sport. But the kind of making and the feeling this show delivers ... really loving it. Give it a shot, even if you don't care for the sport.
I watch anything with Mark Paul Gosselaar. I guess because I grew up with Saved by the Bell lol. Maybe even his best work in it. Kylie Bunbury is solid as well as the female pitcher lead.
The show is so well shot that I thought I was watching a baseball movie. Plus, wow that ending was unexpected. Definitely recommend this. Just is a little baseball movie cliche but hey if you like baseball or baseball movies, I recommend Pitch either way.
I liked this way more than I expected! I know nothing about baseball, so I wasn't really interested in watching this show, but the pilot was amazing!
It's going to be good to see a tv show that deals with sport and that has a women as a lead :D
This was a good start!!! My girl Kylie was great. Glad to see her doing her thing and getting her shine after that shit show (twisted) that treated her character like shit. Will definitely be tuning in to see what happens next.
Oh my goodness where to start. I know nothing about baseball, in fact I don't think I know anything about any sport; after watching this I'm very tempted to try to figure it out though because I'm very interested.
It's fantastic that the writers decided to show how psychologically draining and damaging it is to have that much pressure on you, especially when it started from such a young age and it's been a constant. Young girls having someone to look up to is important, of course it is. But you have to wonder how much the pressure of having to be a perfect role model for them affects the person they're looking up to.
I did not see that ending coming and it majorly caught me off guard. I actually cried, as the last few minutes played out I had tears running down my face the entire time.
I'm hooked.
I'm not a sports person, but I am a woman who teared up while watching those little girls looking up to Ginny (which, so far, shows a potentially great female lead). Let's see what this brings!

Enjoyed this way more than i thought i would.... and i dont even follow Baseball but its something ive always been curious about
