“Like watching an Original Co-Directed and Co-Written Tarantino and the Coen brothers Script and Movie which has been well stirred and shook up, while Flying High on LSD”. This is My Very Best Effort describing how I feel after watching any episode of "Preacher".

I knew (and still know) nothing about the comic that inspires the TvSeries. And although I cannot follow (i.e. understand) every scene, I actually do enjoy every single one as they go from hilarious to oppressing and claustrophobic, passing through an extreme surrealism with a few drops of black humor as great as the Gaelic Single Malt from where they come. Moreover, to top it off, everything takes place in a village located in oblivion where nothing is supposed to happen ever.

There seems to be a reason behind everything, but it's beyond human comprehension, or at least mine. But as you already may know it's the trip what matters, not the destination, so enjoy the ride while it last... :-)

NOTE: Not Apt for Audiences Needing Pre-Digested, Repackaged TvShows (i.e. Walking Dead!)

Slow burn. Big bang finish. I am still picking up the bloody little pieces of my shattered little faith (and heart).

I didn't expect to love this series as much as I do now, considering how it took me three days to finish the pilot episode. xD

But all of its wacky irreverence, solemn complexities, and 'wait, what the shite just happened?!' moments really do grow on you overtime (along with Jesse's scruffy mug, Cassidy's sassy accent, and Tulip's kickass charms).

I am so looking forward to what's coming next for this hapless trio.

And what's with all these TV shows and their "God is missing" angles?Maybe Jesse should hook up with Lucifer and the Winchester brothers sometime. That would be hella fun! xD

A little bit too bloody for my taste. But the characters are amazing and the story is beyond awesome.

A wonderful adaptation if you don't care about huge changes from the source material or, even better, if (like myself) that's what you crave. It's smart, funny, full of surprises, visually interesting without becoming pretentious and thematically strong. And it's a lot of fun, which never hurts. Great TV.

In the comic book series, the characters and their backstories made sense. Here, they make none. Basically, it's another dumbed-down badly written TV social commentary-stuffed series based on a comic (hello, Lucifer, Gotham, Flash, Constantine). They even threw in an actually likeable character (Cassidy) based on the experience of the Game of Thrones, so that you'd keep watching at least for his sake.

Fourth episode in, nothing to get me going. Bad writing (especially the dialogue), absolutely nothing interesting happening, deliberately not showing stuff and ending on cliffhangers as if it's going to interest me more - guess what, it isn't.

There was a lot of hype going around Preacher, I don't see why. Mediocre.

The show is remarkabl and I love it shows that his actions do have consequences it really makes the show standout.
