Preacher: Season 2

2x01 On the Road

Best road trip ever. Where sidekicks are concerned, Cassidy could read the phone book and have me laughing while Tulip might be the most appealing and vulnerable badass out there. Just a great start to the season.

Great start, this second season is looking even better than the first one!

I'm glad the show has demonstrated no compunctions about deviating from the events of the comics, or else the possible ramifications of Cassidy's longing glances at Tulip – or, indeed, the mere mention of the name "L'Angelle" – would be enough to send me scurrying away in fear and trepidation.
Also, the "For Steve" card at the end broke my heart all over again. Rest in peace, Mr. Dillon, and thank you for everything.

Now, look.. I know this is our first night together that was hilarious. I liked that this season opens strong.
And that fkn stereo snoring really cracked the hell out of me XD

I loved that ending. It makes me wonder what exactly is going to happen to prevent Jesse's death.

Using bowels from a freshly deceased corpse to siphon gas out of a car, ok, I think that sets up the tone real quick. The fist season was just an intro, kinda slow, now's when things start.

The car chase, the cops, then the Saint's attack, that's a great start for this season. Though it's really too cliche how everybody's getting killed and they have time to move around and make jokes and well, to recolt bowels, empty them, siphon gas with it, and I'm not really sure how the gas is collected exactly.

Also how come the Saint doesn't catch them faster. I mean he got there, in the middle of nowhere, just after a speeding car chase. So why doesn't he move quicker after that ?

Cassidy is one of the funniest characters out there. The strip club 3 seconds rule, business standard, of course.

Glenn Morshower is a priest, not something from the government and it's strange to me

Awesome start to the season. The first one was definitely a slow burner, whereas this one is already beginning with a blast (both literally and figuratively).

All that unnecessary gore, then I saw the credit "Directed by Seth Rogen".
Well, that about explains everything I've seen so far...

Would be better without sick gore scenes.
