This is the weakest episode of the season for me. The best part of the episode was Herr Starr and pretty much all of his scenes in this episode.
The idea of the carts is cool, those tests to the candidates
Herr Starr. Another fantastic badass character. A total psychopath, sadely bored by the absence of any interesting challenge in life. The guy's feeling bored while getting his balls electrocuted. Over the top much ? Every single step of his recruitment test is perfect. Rest of the episode is a little boring in comparison.

A nice mix of crazy, twisted fun and some deeper, more profound moments. On the former point, those Grail tryouts were, um, creative. And I hate to go out on a limb, but the winner might not be entirely stable mentally. Heh. But then again, the Grail group as a whole is apparently convinced that it's guarding the direct descendant of Jesus, so the new guy should fit right in. If nothing else, he certainly knows how to fast-track his own career. And now he's gonna be coming after Jesse after dealing with his previous Grail-y pig problem in a typically violent way. But hey, whatever works. Meanwhile, back in New Orleans, Tulip and Cassidy and Jesse are all having their own struggles with their own demons (and a bit of lost soul), but they need to get their act together since, as already mentioned, they have company coming...

Herr Starr coming off as every bit of the badass he is in the comic. Pip Torrens is amazing in this role!
