Slowly making my way through this season, it's not the worst thing ever, a little better than the second half of season 04 (so far at least) but the fact that everyone speaks English in Yemen is insanely distracting, it's comically bad how every new character that's been introduced starts off speaking English.
Oh yes ! Bring back the dead person just to have a another go at your money machine of a series.
At least this "sequel reboot event" season ends the "Prison Break" story at little more satisfying than the movie "Final Break" even if everything about the set-up is far fetched and beyond believable at this point. At least the location of "Yemen" is intriguing with the addition of the biggest threat to civilization as we know it (ISIS) and the strange new identity of our hero which we for a short second can "believe has turned" bad. Less intriguing is another conspiracy plot and the forced way that T-Bag is written into the story for another appearance even if he should have been executed many times over by now. Okay for fans, but it should end now.
This season wasn't necessary, the story was already completed however, I so did enjoy seeing these characters again and even though the plot was meh, it gave me all of those prison break feelings again. Plus, this ending.. My heart. Yes.
This has been an ultimate guilty pleasure... It took me back to season one and its glory. It's not good in any way but it did bring me a lot of that old joy of watching the series.
Do yourself an favour and stay at season 4. I made it until EP4 and thats enough for me. The story has no sense anymore.
So boring and predictable.

It has been such a disappointment to see a great show like this almost humiliated by this comeback! 5th season is inconsistent and not even half as good as the 1st one! Ok, I'll grant you that the further seasons (second, third and fourth) took a wrong turn already in the previous years, yet this one has been the worst season of them all! I wonder why ruin a good memory of what used to be a glorious show :/
It's been so long and it felt like the actors/actresses didn't age at all. They're keeping their looks really well.. T-bag was one of my fav characs in the older seasons, unfortunately he wasn't featured alot in this new season. I love the plot to this season too, esp the part when Jacob and Michael are trying to outsmart each other. It was really interesting to me what they have up their sleeves and i'd say Jacob was pretty good. Juz not good enough..HA! Seeing lotsa comments here requesting not to ruin PB, but i'm pretty sure this one's gon be the last. Imo it's still pretty good for a revival short series, gotta be honest, i didn't like the season 4 ending having Michael dead. So yea, this one's definitely a better happily ever after ending, i know...it's the typical kinda ending but after what Michael went through in the past seasons, i'd say he deserves this ending for what it's worth. Sad for T-bag though, got to meet his son and it didn't even last long enough.. Hope they won't be making a Season 6 to try to break T-bag out! XD Juz saying :P Pretty sure it all ends here.

Wow, I don't think I remember the end, however I am shocked that someone's feeble mind got the idea to resurrect the serie after it been gone for almost 8 years?!

You should watch at least two episodes before commenting. I was also too afraid of this season but so far I've seen three episodes and I have to admit it's not that bad. In fact I really like it and because I know there are only 9 episodes I enjoy every moment. Yes, the magic of breaking out is gone but still I think this comeback is one of the better ones. Heroes was disaster, but PB is nice. Try two episodes and see for yourself.
