Why should they cancelled the show :weary::weary::weary:
Don't believe the haters... admittedly there are some cliches that grind like the reason he is a good profiler is cos of his father, but despite this, I still find this show very compelling and watchable, particularly with the upcoming demise of Criminal Minds and apparently MindHunter. And I think there are some more interesting twists soon to be revealed.
Maybe a season 3 maybe not?!?

A show ruined by poor writing, trendy topics, and an ungodly amount of cliche material shoved into its premise. The first season is solid, but the second season is some of the worst television I've ever seen. Some creative moments of crime-solving, but has pretty much the same structure for every episode making it painfully obvious who committed each crime.
(+) Solid performances from Tom Payne and Michael Sheen
(+) Interesting/creative murders
(=) Formulaic plot which takes away from the suspense/intrigue of a lot of episodes
(-) Preaches far too often about serial killers, murder, motives, etc.
(-) Annoying side characters who generally spit out repetitive lines of dialogue
(-) Insane amount of current event material shoved into the plot, and some forced humor that is cringe-inducing to say the least
Final Verdict: 3/10 (Poor)
Why cancelling such a great show?! In every ep I got interested and shocked, keeping me on the edge. I had hope for criminal shows again (used to love them but if you watch 20 you know everything they can come up with so for years I couldnt get interested in one even for one season). And we just had hope for Malcolm/Dani relationship T.T Whyyyyy?!
I was really liking this show. And to find out they canceled it. Last episode is next week...
The show like whole is entertaining and witty. The setup is interesting. It started nice, but there are to many cliches and nonsensical things. Writing can be more intelligent and consistent then what we get.
The main characters is field trained FBI agent and also trained in martial artist, but gets his ass kicked too much from people with little to no training. Malcom is on of the best, but he still runs almost any case to his father. He has huge world, historical and medical knowledge, but at some times he just don't when plot requires it.
This show is not written, acted and casted well. I have watched 5 episodes and I think that is enough for me.
I’m diggin’ the concept of the show... I’ll keep watching before saying anything more.
okay so this is only the first episode so i may be raving a little soon but i must say that i am extremly impressed with what i saw theres action suspense thrills so much going on here lots of excitement its quite graphic ill admit but if your willing to try to ignore it its well worth it
Extremely predictable, unbelievable characters, clichéd as all hell. The premise itself had potential, but it's not being used well at all here.
Two well cast actors and two terrible ones. In my opinion the male leads are the best actors on this show. The females, unfortunately, are terrible for the most part.
The show has some interesting themes and despite some obvious flaws. It keeps me interested.
What I find frustrating is stupid things being written in for ease of plot. For example a “profiler” who doesn’t believe that murderers are created, what year is this set in?
Overall good dumb fun!
well after the great television foobar of 2019 and the mass cancellations for no reason except corporate greed.
i just hope this program lives a long and healthy life as this is a great show and brilliant acting everywhere.
long live the son!
I did not like this the 1st time I started to watch this show. However, my daughter was watching it & we both liked it. I guess I didn't give it a chance the 1st time
Why should they cancelled the show :weary::weary::weary:
The first season is pretty good, second season is being held back by some social justice nonsense, I can only imagine this makes the blood of black police officers boil. But it's an American TV Show, I understand they have to appease a bunch of white people in LA so I'll give it pass.
Now, this...this is what I call proper entertainment. I was drawn in with the premiere itself, which is a praiseworthy feat. And given how with the other new/newish shows that (I) started around the same time and was already watching, and how, even once I was further along into them, I still wasn't into it, you can imagine how refreshing this show was and how refreshing for me, it was to be watching, and how much more that came to light once I was further along into it, too. Furthermore, while there were episodes that I neither liked or disliked, even they seemed more entertaining and appealing than those other shows as a whole, in hindsight. I guess it was just a testament to preference. That, somehow, my subconscious was more captivated by this show or something about it, for some reason. Stuff like that is so weird, isn't it? Frankly, I don't get it. Anyway, I think this is an underrated show that has probably passed under the radar for a lot of people, a hidden gem. My current state of memory may be biased or unreliable because the only shows that I've watched, those of which are in recent memory, specifically, are all fairly new shows so I'm not exactly that well-versed when it comes to the number of shows that I've watched and whatnot, but this one just seemed and seems like it'll be underappreciated despite being a surprisingly decent show, all because it's a police procedural, most of all. And I get that. It's understandable. But all I can say is that you shouldn't prematurely judge or have expectations that it'll be like any other police procedural, at least, if it leads to choosing to not watch it. At the very least, give it a shot and go from there. If you like it, you like it. If you don't, you don't.
Another show I could binge watch all episodes at once. Hope it gets a season 2.
Like the show very much because the show sometimes is so dumb that at least it has a real life feeling.
This is so cheesy and obvious. Is this written for people with IQ < 50? Seriously... Every episode is the same - he goes somewhere, gets in a fight, people just commit they did it without a reason and case solved. This is an offence to every decent human being. I'm done...
