Y'all this show is so fucking problematic. Yet despite the incredibly yikes age gaps (15 jesus christ), derogatory depictions of lesbians, and illicit drug use the day his child was born I'm still somehow enamoured. The main three cast are compelling and the writing is sharp despite it all.
not to mention just how queer it is. even in these enlightened times seeing gay men depicted in a way explicitly not to comfort straight audiences feels revolutionary.
