Hated the idea of the show but the first episode gave me an interesting mystery so I decided to give it a chance. Absolutely falls apart by the end of the season. Not for fans of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Next, this is just American Horror Story: Ratched Fan-fiction.

One of those series which starts off so good but ends up being slow towards the end. Doesn't seem to be a continuation story of Nurse Ratched from 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', care I don't remember her character showing any sign of care of empathy. Perhaps a spin-off? Prequel? Still the show is a good watch but I won't say its amazing. 6/10
It was amazing since the beginning. not including the end, which is quite bad.

The reference to the character of Mildred Ratched seems like an excuse rather than a development. That, or the scriptwriters have not understood the character of "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" (Milos Forman, 1975). In fact, there is no similarity, neither argumentatively nor stylistically. As a season of "American Horror Story" it would be correct, even remarkable. Murphy pays homage to Hitchcock with the Doris Day aesthetic, but as usual creates an attractive universe that nevertheless gets lost in subplots that reveal the weakness of the main plot.
