I'm a John K. fan and I believe I have seen everything Ren and Stimpy, but this show... Wasn't his best work. There's so much focus on gross-out humour in an obvious in-your-face kind of way that it seems like the writers weren't confident enough to make it clever or subtle. They're relying too heavily on an iconic aspect of the original show without adding any jokes that doesn't stem from something disgusting. It's like they're thinking what made them popular in the first place was just being gross, and now that they're on an adult channel they can explore that aspect more. The original show did have gross-out humour, but it was used in moderation, that's why it worked. However, I still enjoyed this show a lot and I'd say it's worth a watch if you can stomach their humour.
