The Revolution aims to step outside the typical realm of the broadcast Christian genre. Its innovative style of discussion around a table in a peaceful, low lit, comfortable surrounding differs from the pulpit pastor preaching. The topics convey a much different, younger perspective into Christianity and evangelism. The youthful and upbeat personalities allow the hosts to talk to the viewers and not at them. The Revolution intends to fire up emotion in the hearts of its viewers with everyday modern family experiences and testimonies fueled by the Bible itself.

  • 2010-04-05T23:00:00Z30m

In part 1 of this 3 part discussion the hosts discuss that we need to see ourselves the way Christ sees us and how this is vital. Melissa Jamison makes reference to The Bible being a mirror for us as Christians it is a reflection of who we are in Christ. Pastor Jamison adds the biblical verse "Do not be conformed to the image of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." The word of God is the source that we have to find out what our image is for what we are supposed to look like as a Christian.

Continuing into part two of the three part discussion the hosts discuss the need to ask of the lord for our daily spiritual and physical bread through prayer. We are created in the image of God and Pre-destined to do great things before him. The Hosts give encouragement to look to God as he is working in us and in our lives. The forgetful man looks into the mirror of God's word and forgets what he sees, but when he looks into the perfect law of liberty and does the work using the bible to find out what he looks like through God's eyes he realizes what he is created to be. Martin Luther said that he lived for two days in his life that was today and that day. Melissa goes on to say If we live like that with that mind set we are not held back living for ourselves and instead living for Christ.

  • 2010-04-19T23:00:00Z30m

Pastor Josh Jamison explains how we are God's special people being called to do his purpose that is not meant to be a burden to carry it out. Melissa goes on to explain God wants us to be like him to look like him he is holy , when we look to Christ he is holy. We cannot craft Jesus Christ into a store bought trinket or into an image; his image is in our hearts branded as Christians. The B90X reading the bible in 90 days using a pattern is encouraged by Host Josh Jamison. Leviticus 20:26. The grace of God turns every commandment into a promise we don't hear what were supposed to do we hear what we get to do. Pastor Josh Jamison states we are the people of God we have a purpose as God's people and it is not a burden being placed upon us but a freedom. He points this out in 1 Peter 2:11-12 . The Hosts reference these two more key verses in the Bible from Leviticus 20:26 and 1 Peter 1:13-16 From the New Testament.

The Lord dwells within us as a people. It is time for the intercessors to come on the scene and time for those people who are called by God to walk in the office of authority that he has for his people time to receive the prayer assignments and dedicate ourselves to him. Dedicate our lives and work whether we are laborers, athletes, soldiers, it is time to dedicate our work to Christ whatever the field of industry we work in is. This dedication to serving God makes our lives more fruitful. Tom references Paul in Philippians 3 imperfections that I may lay. Forget those things that are behind in the pass press on. Confess those sins put them under the blood of Jesus and receive forgiveness. God doesn't want us to be held back by sin and things in our past but to run forward with endurance. Get free of the sin as God has urgent work for us to do. Tom also references the biblical book Hebrews 12:1-3.

The Bible says beautiful are the feet that bring good news as the camera zooms in on Co-Host Tom Blauvelt's feet to solidify the point made. The power of prayer and the authority of the believer along with the influence this has on our walk in the faith are conveyed to the viewers. Co-Host Melissa Jamison reads from Isaiah 44:4 making a special note that we as a people belong to the Lord this is our identity written on his hand as God's property. Josh Jamison adds that in both the new and Old Testament we see instances where the people of God have the opportunity to respond to God to do what God says and establish the things he has asked his people to do.

1x11 Be a Revolution

1x11 Be a Revolution

  • 2010-05-17T23:00:00Z30m

Praying in the Holy Spirit is the charge we need! The word of God tells us to stir ourselves up in the most holy way. Our life as Christians needs to be plugged into Christ. Associate pastor Tom Blauvlet references 1st Corinthians 14:2 He who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. The Apostle Paul writes, "He who speaks in tongues edifies himself". Speaking in tongues edifies your spirit. He further explains this is a spiritual muscle building exercise like when one goes into the gym your pumping weights that is edifying your own body. When you speak in tongues and praying you are edifying yourself spiritually. Pastor Josh Jamison states the benefit the word (Bible) working in our life does for us is enormous. We are created for a calling, purpose, and a destiny God has called for us when we receive that cutting of the flesh and circumcision of the heart, we begin to receive the life of God and the promises he has for us.

1x12 Be a Revolution, Part 2

  • 2010-05-24T23:00:00Z30m

The world tries to mold and conform us to its standard and its way of doing things and settling for less than Gods best. Tom Blauvelt references Galatians 5:1 "Stand fast therefore in the Liberty by which Christ has made us free and do not be entangled with the yolk of bondage." The devil wants to take ground back, we need to be watchful and not fall into temptation and be free in the word. We live in a day and age were evil is being called good, we need to be cognizant of that. it's absolutely clear that God has called you to live a free life just make sure you don't use that freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom.

Tom references Lazarus, Mary, and Martha in the bible and states that sometimes love doesn't necessarily look like what we think it should look like and what Jesus was doing in Lazarus' situation is he was creating an environment for God to be glorified and faith to be built.Mary and Martha had an opportunity to become very offended at Jesus to look and say we need you now by putting an expectation on Jesus that wasn't supposed to be put on him because what is supposed to be put on him is "I trust Jesus no matter what". We live in a place of selfishness and of not trusting people as we have been let down and held back by offense and un-forgiveness. Melissa points this out as a faith statement. We can look to Jesus knowing he will be trustworthy, with his integrity, and for the fullness of who he is because if we question that we are not reading his word enough. Pastor Josh Jamison references Matthew 13:57-58 so they were offended at him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house." Now he did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Offense created a place of unbelief which even stopped Jesus from doing many mighty works in the midst of them and miracles weren't done in this area because of offense. When we are offended at God and his people we have to make a gift of forgiveness to overcome these offenses it is a key to getting answered prayer.

1x14 Called to live in the light

  • 2010-06-07T23:00:00Z30m

God is waiting for us to grab a hold of his word to go into the entire world and preach the gospel to take authority over the dominions and the powers of darkness because we have the word on the inside of us as Christians. When we get into the word (Bible) and it becomes a part of us the word says the truth that you know will set you free. Josh Jamison goes on to say that the Bible specifically says "Without faith it is impossible to please him (God) but he who comes to God must believe that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Share a smile with someone and ask someone if they could use prayer even when you feel like you can't do it. In the body of Christ God looks at every one of us with value. God addresses us in his word and how important the internal organs are as well in the body of Christ. Those of us Christians that aren't on TV or outwardly known as Christians internally in the body of Christ are extremely vital to the church of God and if we don't grab the hope of that then were not chipping in where we all need to be doing our part. Tom Blauvelt continues this message stating this is vital to save the lost (Non-Christians), heal the sick, and bring revival into our nation. God needs everyone doing their part and standing at our post.

1x15 Joy of the Lord is your strength

  • 2010-06-14T23:00:00Z30m

Pastor Josh Jamison wearing a T-Shirt depicting an American Bald Eagle caught in Chains stating will the eagle get tied up more in the chains or will the eagle ultimately fly free as this is where our nation is at the moment of decision, do we get caught up in the chains or do we shake them off and walk in Freedom. Rise up as with wings as Eagles, Run and not grow weary, walk and not faint because the Lord goes before us and renews our strength. We are under the government of God, and we need to have a revolution where the government of God supersedes the Government of man and man's ideas and thoughts. Tom Blauvelt references speaking of Jesus Christ in the Bible hundreds of years before he was on Earth in the biblical book Isaiah 53:1-6

Tom Blauvelt points out in Psalm 2:1 why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? Speaking from God's perspective he looks at the government's and nation's leaders plotting to overthrow God and replace him with their vein religion and vein philosophies. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess including these leaders. Melissa Jamison gives a story of her child Joshua who's eye is swelled up to the size of a plumb being a timely matter when she and her husband planned on leaving the country for the missionary field while waiting at the bus station for pre-ordered tickets with a confirmation number however the tickets are not at the bus station when they arrive. This could have been a stressful situation instead Melissa started laughing and made the situation humorous. Christ healed Joshua by the time they arrived in Miami for the final overseas trip this suddenly moment was an example of the joy of the lord being our Strength. The Lord is Joyful in the midst of demolishing our enemies he gets excited about that. We need the same stress free attitude especially in a stressful situation and let our mind be still in the spirit of God. There is a real powerful, Principal, and praise seen in scripture that God inhabits the praises of his people. The joy of the Lord is going to push back the powers of darkness in your life and as you start laughing at your circumstances when you rather be crying remember we should start walking in the peace of God and in joy. When you don't have that peace and that joy in a circumstance and you still praise God faith will penetrate the situation and God will come on the scene.

1x17 Prayer for the nation

1x17 Prayer for the nation

  • 2010-06-28T23:00:00Z30m

The Righteous are as bold as a lion and are those who know who they are in Christ. We can have great boldness and walk in great freedom as the truth sets us free. Getting into the word and praying will release Gods will in our life. The word being creativity in our life as Christians opens up our spiritual understanding and our understanding with the things in this world that is going on around us. Melissa Jamison goes on to explain that we’ve seen our nation as American's take some turns and in those turns were not praying as much as we should be. There were foundational truths set for us in our country. Regardless of what some people may be telling us right now "We are a nation that was founded on Christian values, they can't take away history.” We can look and see we are not like any other nation we’ve been a very different nation and are very set apart in the entire world. Pastor Josh Jamison references second Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Josh goes on to say "When we pray it makes a difference" referencing the second part of James 5:16 “The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” We need to dig in and seek God's face and find him in a place of intimacy where we contact God and we literally shake the heavens by being released to do what God’s will is here on planet Earth. Pray for the nation, be a patriot and call upon the name of the lord.

1x18 Prayer for the nation, Part 2

  • 2010-07-05T23:00:00Z30m

The Lord wants us to Marinate in his presence find out what his will is for our life and then releases his will to us. This happens when we walk in love and have fellowship with God. James 4:2 “you lust and you do not have, you murder and covet and cannot obtain, you fight in war and yet you do not have because you don’t ask”. We need to check our motives and our hearts where we don’t war against the church. It is also important we don’t operate in lust and the desires of the flesh. The Bible says there are exceedingly precious promises that have been given to us by God and that by these promises we have become partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through Lust. Wanting what you don’t have and we have these desires. Instead the Lord wants to give us our desires and give up our will. When we give up our will we let go of that which is minimal and that which is insignificant and exchange it for what is great, powerful, mighty, and exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ever ask or thing because God wants his will for us. Pastor Josh Jamison goes on to reference James 4:3 “You ask and you do not receive because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures adulterers and adulteresses do you not know that friendship toward the world is enmity with God. Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world wants to be an enemy with God.” This is a principle we need to understand. We want are heart to pursue God and to not pursue the things of this world. The Bible says that if you seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness that all the things that the world seeks after will be added to you. We know God wants good things for us he just doesn’t want those things to have us (Controlling us) and have our hearts.

1x19 Prayer for the nation, Part 3

  • 2010-07-12T23:00:00Z30m

Concluding the topic prayer for the nation Pastor Josh Jamison We as believers put our trust in the lord and humble ourselves and pray for the healing of our land as a nation. We need to agree as believers and agree God wants good things to take place. Referencing Matthew 16:19 (NKJV) And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."There is a freedom to pray for the nation. The Lord has given us the keys to the kingdom of heaven so we bind the strong men we lose the word of God and Gospel. The Effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. When we fervently pray passionately pursuing God and seek the face of God and ask him to release his will to us. The Lord invites us to be a part of what he is doing. Melissa Jamison Adds that God wants to reveal his holiness to the nation. God wants to put himself on display for the nations through his people (disciples). God's Holiness isn’t going to be revealed through bored Christians. God isn’t boring and praying isn’t boring, Praying together will be an anointing experience as God will move. God is the lord of our government we need to pray for those in authority our leaders even if we don't believe in all of their viewpoints lift them up in pray. Some people may say the world doesn’t want to know about God they are rejecting him at every turn and Christianity is going down the hill. Melissa exclaims why would we buy into that, as Christians why would we take the back seat and Say "Well I guess nobody wants to hear us" We wouldn’t do that. We stand strong on God's Word and integrity and pray the will of God in our situation. When we leave out God's word from our society and as a culture we are digressing especially when Prayer was taken out of our schools.

1x20 The Authority of the Believer

Season Finale

1x20 The Authority of the Believer

  • 2010-07-19T23:00:00Z30m

Pastor Josh Jamison explains that there are so many people sitting back and recline stating “O the will of the Lord be done in my life.” We do want that and sometimes it is hard to know what the will of God is but the Lord wants us to move into the fullness of being a mature son of God. The Bible says that as many that are lead by the spirit of God they are the sons of God referring to the son’s of god who are useful to the father’s house. God gives grace to the humble and Christ gives us strength it is up to us to find the will of God then walk in the delegated authority he has positioned us in to bring on dreams to pass. Josh Jamison refers to Psalm 8:3 “When I consider your heavens the work of your fingers the moon and the stars which you have ordained, what is man that you are mindful of him and the son of man which you visit him. For you have made him a little lower than Elohim and you have crowned him with glory and honor you have made him to have dominion over all the works of your hands you have put all things under his feet all sheep and oxen even the beast of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. O’ lord our Lord how excellent is your name in all the Earth.” The Lord has given man dominion here on Earth all things have been placed in Christ’s hands he has released those to the Church of the living God. The Positional authority is Christ the delegated authority is the Church us Christ’s people. Melissa Jamison adds we are to be imitators of God as we look through the word we can see how God spoke and he saw it come to pass so we need to change our thought patterns then talk in authority by re-adjust our words through God’s will. The Word of God is our example in our life to walk God’s will out in Authority with purpose and take full advantage where we are prospering.

Pastor Josh Jamison opens on the renewing of our minds through the word referencing the Bible verse 2nd peter 1:21 for prophecy never came by the will of man but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the holy spirit." 2nd timothy 3:16 "all scripture is given by inspiration of God" Josh goes on to explain we are God driven when we get into the word and the word causes us to advance and move forward. Melissa adds "Sometimes we need a jumpstart there is a 1001 things that we can think of during our days and during the week" As our minds are filled with something to keep us occupied "are we going to be a disciple of our mind or a disciple of God". We want to be a Christ disciple of God further explaining how we get there is by using the word (Bible) and to hear the word of God then performing the word of God in our everyday lives. Our minds are bombarded with negative thoughts and images as well as things when we were taught as a kid can have some negative thought impact that can cause depression. There shouldn’t be Christians walking around depressed all the time this is not meant to bring condemnation to people struggling with depression in the body of Christ but instead to know there is a higher road and a higher place to look towards. Our minds will be the same if we are not renewing them with the word of God in the Bible. Pastor Josh Jamison states when we renew our mind in the word (Bible) we program it to the thoughts of God we get thoughts of power, faith, boldness, healing the good things we want in our life and ultimately we have a foundation to be used by him (God). Joshua 1:8 "this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth ,but you shall medicate in it day and night that you may observe and do all that is written in it for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have success." We don't speak many repetitive words so the lord would hear us it is rather so our mind will be renewed as we possess the mind of Christ changing our mind to line up with Christ's. Romans 10:17 "so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Melissa Jamison explains "My word isn’t truth to salvation his word (God's) is the truth we need". God says be like me you were created in my image. We need to change the way our mind engages sometimes, even as a Christian we engage in thoughts that we shouldn’t engage into. Married couples can sometimes take love and turn it into hate as the thoughts that sometimes rise up. Satan will try to pull us away from the things of God, the enemy (Satan) tries to destroy families and tear relationships apart. "Love is God hate is not." referencing a kindergarten phrase. We have to choose to love and make a decision to love even when we don't feel like it, and choose on how we can be an example like Christ is. Pastor Josh Jamison references 1st Peter 1:13 "Therefore gird up the loins of your mind be sober and rest your hope fully on the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Christ Jesus." Ultimately that is the revelation when Christ comes back or when we die to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We are also called to walk in a revelation of Jesus on an ongoing basis that we would understand the word know the word of truth and a rest as well as a grace will be given to us. God has called us as Christians to create an atmosphere where people get saved. That is an atmosphere of grace, faith, and where the Lord touches down on our lives and we begin to transcend this carnality then begin to walk in the spirit and walk in the fullness of being sons of God. Josh goes on to reference Psalm 33:8-9 "Let the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake and it was done; he commanded and it stood fast. The Lord has called us to grow in holiness set apart and used by God to touch people’s lives.” God's word is his word not man's word the authority in God's word is evident referencing Psalm 33:8-9 reinforcing the verse then referring to when God says something it always takes place Hebrews 1:3 "Who being in the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person and upholding all things by the word of his power when he himself purged our sins sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high." The word has the integrity of God contained in it and that’s where we trust in the word of God it changes our life instead of serving ourselves. Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

2x23 Faith

2x23 Faith

  • 2010-08-09T23:00:00Z30m

We want to be God pleasers. Pastor Josh Jamison states Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the word of God. Luke 18:27 "the things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Faith says it's there if we believe and receive we will possess. The implanted word will change your life and the truth that you know will make you free. Melissa references Jeremiah 32:27 "I am the Lord the God of all mankind is there anything too hard for me". Putting both scriptures together you can do a lot of things with those scriptures with the situations in our lives also referencing Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." We spend time with God by praying and talking to him and we overcome obstacles in our life through faith. The Lord calls us to manage our lives to bridle our body to be those who walk in the word of truth as the word of God would be in our hearts because we’ve been exposed to the word. Get the word of the Bible in you it will change your life, change your speech, and change how you feel about yourself and about the world instead of a world that becomes this problem that is always there. We see an opportunity to love like God loves and to walk in the victory as Jesus was an over comer on our behalf. God called David a man after his own heart. God sees us with the fullness of Christ on the inside of us. James 1:2-4 "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing

When we believe is when we activate what the Lord says also when we grab a hold of it and believe with our whole heart. Pastor Josh references John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." When we continue in God's presence and he works in us there are things that are impossible to men but are possible when we get in the word and God works in us. Melissa Jamison adds that God tells us trust in me. Hebrews 11:1-3 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." Ultimately the lord is our example in this where his word came forth in this. Faith became the substance of what God hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. The Worlds were created and all of creation was birthed for by the faith of God. We are to follow in his example as we are created in his image. We can know the will of God by getting into his word and his will is to heal us, set us free, deliver us, and bring us peace where there was none and to give us a hope and a future where before it felt like we didn't have any.

2x25 Passion for the Lord

2x25 Passion for the Lord

  • 2010-08-23T23:00:00Z30m

When we are passionate about God and his people god can do great things through us. All of what God does is hanging on love. We can get passionate about Football, baseball, and even politics at times ,Melissa referring to herself states "I have to reign myself in sometimes I’m not a politician I’m a Christian somebody that's a disciple of the lord and I want my passions to reflect him (God) we want God to be our passion as first place in our life. Some of us live for this their sports. There is nothing wrong with watching the next hockey game that comes on TV or going from one sport to the next. However if sports or politics for example consumes your life and supersedes what you are passionate for over the lord than something else has your focus and attention. God wants our whole attention and whole heart with a passion and desire. When we are passionate for God we are the chief benefactors when we walk in that and we are the ones who receive the greatest benefit. Matthew 22:37 "Jesus said love the lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence. This is the most important the first on any list but there is a second set alongside it love others as you love yourself" We see how we can function in life and walk in liberty we are in bondage because of our own desires. When we desire God that’s when we experience a place of freedom God has plans to bless us, prosper us, and give us a future and a hope. Unless we are passionate for him (God) were not going to receive those plans if we don't mix it with the faith that God has thus we don't have faith unless we get into his presence. Were to be separate from the world we don't have eyes for the world we have eyes for God which is a beneficial separation. The grace of God turns every commandment into a promise.

So often we put off the things of God, it is so much easier to do the things he asks us today than putting them off for tomorrow. God asks us “will you do the things I’ve presented to you today and on a daily basis?” We as a people need to align our lives with God. We need to rise up as the body of Christ and be what God has created us to be and grab hold of the now moment and walk out his calling. Pastor Josh Jamison references Joel 3:18 “And it will come to pass on that day that the mountains will drip with new wine and the hills shall flow with milk and all the brooks of Judah shall be flooded with water, a fountain shall flow from the house of the lord and water the valley of the acacias.” This is a promise of God for “that day” where there have been some “that days” that have come to pass already, furthermore we are living in that day today! Josh also references Amos 9:13 “behold the days are coming says the Lord when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed. The mountains shall drip with sweet wine and all the hills shall flow with it. We need to flow into the things of God as he is causing his things to flow through us as Christians. We need to learn how to flow in a now moment the revelations and anointing need to be released. Man is spirit soul and body as we are created in God’s image by the spirit I am saved in my soul, there is a place where we are not conformed to the image of this world but we are transformed by the renewing of our mind and then one day my body will be saved and raised in righteousness, our spirit and our soul will be saved as Christians one day.

We want a Joy, a sense of Peace, and Love that the world and the devil can't undo through God's love, the Agape love! The keys to victory and success are keeping our eyes and our mind on God. Extending our trust and faith in God because he is the one who has given us life. If we trust in God we will see the results God promised in his word the Bible, sometimes it takes time because we need perfecting of our faith, but it produces patience, when we have endurance then we will receive what the lord promises to us. Pastor Josh Jamison states " I used to be in my mind now I’m out of mind, but it's a place of sanity because it's trusting the lord where were grounded in him and his love, faith, and the word (Bible) standing on the solid rock of the Revelation that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God. Melissa Jamison adds as we align ourselves with God and his word all of the sudden we start getting this revelation of who he is and what he is doing so we understand the peace is in him and not in our circumstances then there is nothing to be shaken about. If we fully trust in him read his word then the word will work in us and we can plant the word within others and help then walk in alignment with God's word the Bible. Josh Jamison references the previous week with the promises of and the aligning process of God in Joel 3:18 “And it will come to pass on that day that the mountains will drip with new wine and the hills shall flow with milk and all the brooks of Judah shall be flooded with water, a fountain shall flow from the house of the lord and water the valley of the acacias.” and also the biblical verse Amos 9:13 “behold the days are coming says the Lord when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed. The mountains shall drip with sweet wine and all the hills shall flow with it.” Melissa Jamison supports with the verse Mark 9:23-24 "Jesus said, "If? There are no 'ifs' among believers. Anything can happen. No sooner were the words out of his mouth than the father cried, "Then I believe. Help me with my doubts!"

We are to be a spirit lead people, with a spirit mind, having a spirit destiny because the lord has transformed us. We are illuminated by the spirit of the living god, we are born again not of corruptible seed but rather incorruptible seed we’ve been born again and whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world. Melissa Jamison adds God gives us victory! He's already paid the price and the victory has already been won so we don't have to wonder where were supposed to be or if we’re really going to make it. As Christians we still have battles to go through in our life, sometimes as we walk through the process there may be things that come up that are hard to deal with but if you have the joy of the lord being your strength we can plow through the difficulties with the Holy Spirit’s help. Were not alone in this walk as Christians God is lifting you up and asking you to go further with him and to not stop short or get discouraged that you allow the discouragement to hold you back. We can stay in a state of frustration, god wants us to delight in his purpose and plan for us. God is saying "calm down rest in me, find peace in me", so you don't have to be spun and out of control, but your grafted into me I give you a steadiness that only I can bring. Pastor Josh Jamison references Romans 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

2x29 Don't Hug a Grudge

  • 2010-09-20T23:00:00Z30m

Pastor Josh Jamison opens the topic of not battling against flesh and blood but rather against principalities and powers. God is encouraging us as a people to stand therefore! Josh goes into referencing Ephesians 6:10-14 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore". Melissa Jamison states "We all have places in our life where we had to learn how to forgive" It is hard and not an easy thing. There is a mountain so to speak of having bitterness and un-forgiveness to overcome. Many times our un-forgiveness or bitterness is justified meaning somebody did something wrong that in our humanity we ought to be bothered about it by his grace God gives is the ability to afford the gift of forgiveness as he has forgiven us. This forgiveness is very important to our own lives and hearts that we know how to walk in it. When were troubled with something it isn’t like we pretend it isn’t there it is realizing and recognizing it is there whether its besetting sin, whether it's bitterness or un-forgiveness even sickness it is ok as a believer in Christ to recognize the problem it's up to us to receive the word of God, mix the word with faith and do what the word of gods says by being empowered by Christ.

2x30 Healing

2x30 Healing

  • 2010-09-27T23:00:00Z30m

Pastor Josh Jamison begins the topic of Healing Referencing 3rd John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. Jesus unveiled the fact that healing is the children’s bread. Jesus first came to the Jews then to the gentiles. Secondarily Jesus came to this woman from Canaan who are you going to give glory to? Jesus is calling her out on worship of their societies Dog God false leader or Jesus. Matthew 15:21 “Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. “ Matthew 15:26 But He Answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” The Lord desires for us to be physically healed. There is this concept that we hold very important as believers Man is spirit soul and body, your spirit man when you are born again is vitally united to God connected in one spirit to the Lord and in a position to overcome the world. Our soul containing our mind our will and our motions understanding my spirit is saved my soul is being saved and when Christ returns our body will be saved as it is sewn in corruption it will be raised in glory and even our flesh will be incorruptible. We have access to the wisdom and the power of God through the prosperity of our soul renewing our mind in the biblical word. Josh then references Romans 12:2 and do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable will of God….. If we know it is the will of God for us to be healed all of the sudden we can walk and act in confidence, because the bible says if we ask anything according to his will he hears us then we know we have whatsoever he asks.

2x31 Living by Grace

2x31 Living by Grace

  • 2010-10-04T23:00:00Z30m

We as a people need to be cautious about making judgments on person or person’s theology or what you think their stand is based on watching somebody for 30 minutes on television or listening to them on the radio. We are saved by grace known as the grace of God through faith. The word of God declares as you receive the lord so walk in him. Josh states “So many people misunderstand the grace of God” There needs to be more of a full understanding and awareness of the grace of God that is unmerited favor ,but also Gods power in our life to work out his righteousness. When the grace of God shows up that gives us divine ability to be an over comer and a conqueror. We don’t receive grace by our own righteousness. We receive the grace of God by Christ’s righteousness. Mercy and grace are not synonymies. Mercy is not receiving what I do deserve while grace is receiving that which I don’t deserve for example. We peruse the things of God and go to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace.

We don't live according to the Law rather we live according to the grace of God which is the treasure that we get to receive and therefore manifest. Pastor Josh Jamison references Ephesians 1:7 In him (Christ) we have redemption through his blood the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace. We position ourselves in humility because God resists "The Proud" but he gives grace to the humble. The Lord wants to distribute his riches for us and towards us then ultimately through us. Pastor Josh Jamison References Paul talking in Ephesians 3:8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ. Christ wants us to take full advantage of the credit that he paid, of the advantage that he gave through the blood of Christ. Melissa strongly points were discounting the blood of Christ if we don't take advantage. 1st Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Go forth into God's army as he transforms you into his image. We have a purpose when we see who we are in him. We as Christians take up the place where in Ephesians 6:12-18 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Take up the full armor of God so we are able to stand and wrestle. When we sit back and not watch Christian Television we receive the image of the world on us often re-producing that image in our lives. It is important that we get into the word of God and we release it doing something with it. We can be going through our neighborhood and through the ends of the Earth taking Jesus wherever we go. America tends to be orphaned in many ways because our hearts are callused in certain areas. It's very hard for us to stand with and behind people because we try so much for or own self doing everything to survive. We are living for ourselves often not being concerned for someone else but more our own situations.

Christians need the word of God activated in their life. In order to do this we must read the bible and receive what the lord has for us and apply it to our lives. We have a helper from God known as the holy spirit of truth to lead and guide us in all truth as we are not alone and not orphans. Melissa Jamison adds that not only do we get to learn from God but we also get to learn from people that God uses. Some of us may feel like we don't have anything to give, anything to speak or share and the lord says you do with a measure of faith. We grow in faith by exercising in the faith God gave us.

2x35 Living As Sons

2x35 Living As Sons

  • 2010-11-09T00:00:00Z30m

Pastor Josh Jamison states "The Lord is my Daddy"! "I'm not a sinner I’m saved by grace, I was once a sinner, I know where I came from and I don't think of myself more highly than I ought to think. I am complete in him who is the head of all principality and power. That is the transformation that took place in my life that I can see that and know that and walk in son ship and I have less of a desire to grow in faith so that I can get my needs met but more of a desire to be useful for the father. To be a son who is mature and be able to do the lords business." Josh Jamison references Romans Chapter 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

The Lord speaks to Melissa through a dream stating “They are begging me for what freely belongs to them. I love them I want more of them. I want them to reveal themselves to me the (Lord) I want these things from them. I’m giving them their hearts desires but they come and beg love out of me and then walk away feeling worse than they did because they didn’t receive the gift freely. There is No Reason to Beg When the Refrigerator is full. I want to know you love me, but more importantly I you to know I love you the lord said. If you know I love you then you will walk out the love and not beg for it. Receive my love and walk in my love.” The body of Christ has fallen into this place where there is some complacency going on. There has been a walking away from some of the foundational things we’ve learned when we first came to the Lord. Pastor Josh Jamison adds sometimes people beg with their actions like trying to prove to God that they love him. Our service to God doesn’t make him love us anymore or any less he loves us freely and in that confidence of his love were able to serve him according to grace not under self-effort , works, or being a law keeper. Referencing Galatians 4:4-7 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Grace is not where we do whatever we feel like. Grace is where were able to do God’s will. What is it we are trying to get away with in the body of Christ? Are we saying to ourselves its okay to do this because God has granted me full access to the refrigerator? We have freedom and liberty to take whatever we want from the refrigerator, but there are things we deal with and know we aren’t supposed to be doing … like eating a gallon of ice cream or Soda for example before dinner like a child. Children learn, train, and develop knowing right from wrong. As new Christians we know God is developing a son ship in us and a relationship so that we trust each other and are growing together and were learning him. Second Season Finale Directed by Bryan Kreutz.
