3x10 Chapter Forty-Five: The Stranger

Veronica one minute hates her father, the other she cries by his bed
Archie, a convicted murderer who escaped, returns to Riverdale and noone from the prison looks for him
Tall Boy... That was underwhelming xD
The Hannibal/Clarice theme is laughable
The thing that annoys me the most is that they totally ruined Alice Cooper's character with this stupid Farm storyline
So many inconsistent things happening

Is it possible that Hiram planned to be shot? I wouldn't be that shocked if it was the case.

I don't blame Ronnie for asking the question, but doubting him like that.... Dude. How many times has he tried to kill Archie? Archie would be within his right if he had done it.

They made Betty's dad's cell look just like Hannibal and the whole scene was very reminiscent of Clarice/Hannibal. I hope we see more of her with him. He is also the better parent this season.

It's Sheriff Jones now, boy! lmao

Randomly bring back Tall Boy, who we thought was already dead, just to kill him off... why? What's the point?
Speaking of pointless characters, Claudius Blossom was entirely pointless. They made it seem like this huge reveal in the previous season, but then he vanished from the plot almost immediately after being introduced. He's shown up like three times total since, and looks like he's dead now. This is all such nonsense. They're clearly just making this shit up as they go along, and aren't planning in advance.

Archie being all surprised that he might have to repeat his junior year... what the hell did you think was going to happen? You've missed like 4 months of school, dumbass.
Also, you can't just waltz in and take the SATs whenever. You have to sign up and pay for them well in advance. There's no way Archie was signed up properly. He was a convicted felon at the time when sign ups would've taken place.

To address a couple of things that was asked or mentioned on here in comments, like how is FP the new sheriff? Well it showed FP with Hermione and said that it is time, she swore him in, just as Hiram tried to demand Hermione to make Cheryl's Uncle the new sheriff. Secondly, I think that it also could have been Hermione who shot Hiram! But that is just my thought at this point.

• I just wish they would finally move the farm plot forward, mostly so we can get Alice as normal mother back. Her brain-washed attitude is so infuriating. She had so much potential as badass Serpent on FP's side.
• Who else wasn't surprised that the Gargoyle Kind would be just as random as the Black Hood (and I'm still waiting for Chic to come back because that was so weirdly pointless too)? How did the show writers even get their jobs if they can't at least have some surprising and logical reveal? it's always either Hiram or some name they drew randomly from a hat.
• What was the whole point of Archie leaving? He ran away, kissed a random girl, ran away from Hiram to Canada, fought a bear, "died" and then came back to a normal school life. He was convicted for murder but welcome to Riverdale where no one remembers what happened three episodes ago. I also can't believe he's surprised he might have to repeat the school year - He was in prison and then in Canada. I'm more surprised he's still going to school.
• FP is... the new sheriff? What? How?

Lol the second he's no longer her goodie two shoes Archikens she dumps him and accuses him of shooting her father. Yet, Archie literally became her dads capo for her. Vanessa is just another long line of annoying characters on this show.
