Archie inspires the incarcerated young men with football... Y'know, just guys, being dudes.
Also why is this show turning into Stranger Things?

  • Dilton Doiley, Ben Button, Edgar Evernever, Evelyn Evernever - I don't know if some of these writers should be promoted or fired :'D

  • "It's darker than what happened to Jason Blossom or what the Black Hood did. What we're looking at here, I believe, is the true face of evil." It's like Supernatural trying to hype up every new Big Bad and trying to make it even darker, Jesus.

  • But I'm not sure if I'm feeling this gargoyle thing. Would be cool for Stranger Things or some dark show, but Riverdale? It just feels cheap and weirdly unrealistic/forced to be honest. I preferred the previous mysteries much more.

  • That Jailhouse Rock scene gave me so much secondhand embarrassment, oh God. They all have great voices and I love the cheerleader dances, but this combination of the song and the guys jumping at the fence made me cringe so much.

Archie was convicted for murder, meaning he's in a facility with actual security, and not some place with lax rules. Why the fuck is he allowed to wear his own shoes? He wouldn't be allowed to have laces, let alone shoes. This is so unbelievably stupid.
Also, fighting back against the guards was the stupidest thing imaginable. Yes, it's unfair, but that doesn't give you license to start fighting the guards. That just gives them even more reason to beat the everliving shit out of you. Dumbass.

Everything about the cheerleaders coming to the prison football game was nonsensical and embarrassing. Too many reasons to get into.

This D&D knockoff with the weird shit going on in the woods is trying so hard to be Stranger Things. It's kind of pathetic.

Did Veronica fire Pop Tate from Pop's? Where is he? Lol

By far the worst episode of the show. This is making me drop it. Not only their using the old-fashioned "RPG is bad!" trope, their parents are in it too? Just awful writing.

Moose and Kev are so adorable together. I love the way they look at each other. Don't let anything come between them!

When all of the parents were in Hermione's office it strongly reminded of Marvel's Runaways. I find the whole magical plot a bit odd after those two seasons we just had but I'm in for the ride.
