Who cares about Reggie's abusive father when Veronica has to bang Archie ¯\(ツ)/¯ Guess Reggie can just sit in the same corner of untreated trauma Cheryl has been sitting in since season 1.
Finally a better episode. The escape was really nice, loved the little moment with Kevin and Betty on the bike. But seriously, this show is getting worse and worse. This plot is too much, a game played by literally everyone that somehow mind controls people into doing stupid and dangerous stuff? Like the entire town is somehow playing or has played this except for Betty, Veronica and Archie?? And it's nothing supernatural as the showrunners claimed?? I am curious to see how they will explain all of this.
I think they should've sticked with the more murder mystery vibes of the earlier seasons AND Veronica is also just the most cringe worty character ever. Too much there.
More Serpents, more of the grown ups, more Falice and more of the Blossoms history, less of G&G.

Plus Veronica’s mom is just as mad at her. As she is the father for an underground juvenile fight club ??
So is Jughead going mad from a board game ? Season is getting sillier. The show was always silly but in a guilty pleasure sort of way. Now it makes you think “what are the writers smoking ?”
Hopefully by the finale we don’t get one of the fathers explaining his evil board game plot to commit murder.
Hell, anyone trying to explain their motive will be pretty bad. This year and next maybe they’ll not have a father the killer. The mom did it!

it's hilarious to read all the comments from people who didn't get the tone of riverdale and you're not supposed to watch it as if it's some acclaimed drama. this is a silly and camp and purposefully overdramatic. you're not supposed to write multiple paragraphs questioning the accuracy of the legal system in a show where the drugs are called jingle jangle and fizzle rocks. you look dumb
Archie was lawfully convicted. Yes, he didn't commit the crime, but the sentence was lawful. You can't just break him out of prison because you feel like it. You have to go through proper legal channels to get the conviction overturned and the sentence vacated. Because, guess what, now Archie actually has committed a felony by escaping. So have the rest of you by aiding his escape and harboring him. Good job, idiots.
But of course the show is going to gloss right over all of this when it gets resolved.
Veronica claims to be the warden's daughter (she looks absolutely nothing like him by the way), but the dumbass bouncer doesn't bother to ask for ID, or call the warden. How utterly convenient. Or, you know, because the warden is the one who runs the damn fighting ring, you'd think the bouncer would know if the warden has a daughter to begin with.
So… Archie got FUCKING STABBED and all he got was a patch? My God. He should’ve died, there’s no logical explanation to this. He even went down the pipes with contaminated water, at least his wound should be infected or something.
