Decent episode but damn this plot is only interesting because we get to learn a little bit more about the parents, and the parents are really the only interesting thing left to me. I want more of Penelope, that woman is one big walking secret and she is so cool.
Betty being send to the sisters is just another redo of both Polly and Cheryl, boring.
Everyone is focusing a lot on Hiram so if it turns out that Hiram is the Gargoyle King I'm going to be super disappointed.
Veronica remains the most cringe worthy character, jeez, I mean come on, she keeps spilling every damn secret of every plan ever to her daddy!!!
And where the hell are Cheryl and Tony, give them a solid storyline and stop using them as back-up material.

Why would any of the adults show up at the speakeasy? Especially Hiram, who almost instantly declared it a waste of time. THEN WHY DID YOU COME?!
Why would Tom or Penelope then agree to meet with Betty after she had tricked them? No one was happy about it. So why the hell would they agree to meet with Betty after the stunt she pulled? She's clearly still investigating the thing they don't want her to investigate.
As predicted, Archie is completely exonerated and forgiven once there is evidence that the murder charge was bogus, even though Archie committed a brand new felony of escaping prison. Such bullshit. Doesn't matter that he didn't commit the murder, he still disobeyed a lawful conviction. That wouldn't just magically go away.
Also, the whole scene of Archie tearfully saying goodbye to Veronica is such a goddamn waste of time. He's the fucking main character. This is episode 6. He isn't going anywhere.

I will probably be let down again though. Scooby-Doo and the gang will probably just unmask someone’s father as the main villain again.
